i watched last night's ep again and it all clicked on the second viewing. it was good on the first, but once you were able to stop trying to anticipate the next scene or joke, it was a really well thought out and seamless episode from a mechanical standpoint. it rivaled Remedial Chaos Theory for me in terms of intricate beauty.

I can see that. Very surprised with all the negativity towards this episode. Lots of cool funny stuff, liked how every character was "abed's version of them" complete with the physical nuances of abed. Thought it was VERY creative and funny
