This blows! My team is the only team that hasn't won 2+ games. We're honestly better than that when it comes to talent. If our GK shows up we beat Necastle, if Walker isn't out of town we beat Garden City, if we hadn't had so many injuries this past week then we beat Royal Pains. That 5.888888888888888 absences per game is killing us.

Hibernian FC beat Newcastle 3-0 today.

7-1-2 on the season, second in the table. Blizzard won this morning too and we couldn't make up the difference in goal differential, so we are second via tie breaker.

Sporting Raleigh pulls out a strong 4-0 win against Bull City Marauders even with only 1 sub. I can't believe we lost 6-0 to them the first game of our season.

That goal by Emile was awesome. Our team should have finished with at least 4 wins this season. We just had a few games where the important people didn't show up and that killed us. The Wingmen tied Flying Dog at 2-2, so tww didn't lose today!

Here is something I heard about from some people I played pickup with. There is a place in Wake Forest, NC called The Factory. They offer indoor sports, go cart racing, and shopping all at the same place. Friday night is Pickup soccer from 9 pm to 11 pm. It's $5/hour to play. That is better than ten dollar 7 am kickoffs at XL Soccer World.

I used to play up at The Factory a few years back. It was getting quite rough when I stopped. There were multiple fights that broke out, etc etc etc

The Factory is probably the best indoor place in the area. A little too far of a drive for me but if you don't mind, it's a great place. The field is about 4 times bigger/batter than XL.

I work in Durham and get off at about 6 pm on Friday. Map Quest says it's a 22 minute drive from where I work, so it is worth going to every now and then for me. It is 40 minutes from where I live though, so yeah it is too far to drive to every week.

Well pickup at The Factory was pretty fun. A Hispanic guy actually passed me the ball once! I have never been in XL since it changed over from Soccer Dome America. I would say this place and Netsports have the nicest fields. Dream Sports has a smaller field than the other 3 places, so that is kind of lame.

finally updated the coed D standings. da ruck came in 6th out of 12. we made an epic push for 4th, but apparently the two teams above us played each other on the last day and drew, giving them point an edge over us.



i really wish they'd stop using that bullshit "average of points" system. Use the same scale every other league in the world uses, instead of that stupid CASL/TASL shit

I think they do that in case they can't find a spot on the calander for makeup games. It looks like that happened to Aces and Renegades.
