Planned downtime

The Wolf Web is going to be out of commission on Wednesday, January 31st from 4 PM until 7 PM in order to relocate the NEW SERVER (HELL YEAH!!) to a new datacenter.

The upgrades will allow for 2x-3x times the server performance that we are currently getting. The new server will be much faster and the new pipe (fiber) should be blazing. In addition, future downtime will be minimal. We are shooting for 99.999% uptime over the next few months.

UPDATE : False Alarm. There will be no downtime tomorrow. Two of the memory banks in the new motherboard are fried. We will be getting a new motherboard within days and the upgrade will proceed later in the week.

there might also be some downtime tonight sometime. probably around 2 AM - 2:30 AM, but we should only be out for 20 mins or so
