Whats the benefit of the 3rnd burts guns?

I guess I just haven't gotten used to them. I usually just pull the trigger and it stops at 3, I forget to do it again and I die. And I can't hit shit with the M1A4 or whatever the single shot AR is.

Also, I'm quickly becoming a huge fan of portable radar.

Had the best game I've ever had tonight. Went 24-1 on Underground. I kept running through the left side of the map. Unfortunately my girlfriend had changed the class, resulting in my kill streaks being UAV, Care Package and Predator Missile

3 round burst is easier to control and the Type 95 is essentially a 1 shot/kill weapon (2 bullets at close-medium range iirc). It is also one of the quickest (maybe still the quickest) AR to bring up for ADS shots if you're like me and can never remember to shoot from the hip. The MK14 (single shot AR) is extremely accurate and very powerful. Basically it's a more portable almost sniper rifle. 2 body shots/1 head shot = kill. They definitely require aiming instead of spray & pray but are great weapons when you learn them. I like both of them quite a bit (the MK14 w/ rapid fire is my go-to AR).

Forced myself to learn the Type95 over the past 3hrs or so and all I gotta say is DAMN! That thing is a beast! Had a couple of my best games as far as KD is concerned and was consistently positive which I never really do. I think it might replace the ACR as my favorite weapon.

make sure you throw Rapid Fire on the T95 or MK14. It'll save you a few times each match.

You can actually spam the trigger faster than the gun can shoot initially - there is a slight delay between shots, adding rapid fire will remove the slight delay so you can basically fire it as fast as your finger can move. Depends on how you fire it whether it is worth having or not

man were the crybabies out last night. I don't understand why you would stay in a lobby for 3 games and get destroyed just to bitch and complain about it the whole time. One kid tried to make a point that we take the game "too seriously" and proceed to semtex himself to 0-39 and 0-43 back to back games because "he's just playing for fun". It made his team rage.

and again, people raging at some of my teammates for being "campers" because we aren't aimlessly running around the map in circles spraying bullets. Look, if we secure an area of the map and you keep rushing to us over and over and dying that's your problem.

it's never our plan to secure any part of the map, but when the other team just keeps storming in like lemmings to the ledge no one with any sense is going to abandon post.

it's as if some people who play never let off the left joystick and from they moment they spawn are in constant forward motion only to run blindly to the same spot on the map over and over. but when they see you stop, crouch, or pie around a corner they call you a camper.

arkaden is a good example. If I start in the parking lot I immediately rush the back area, i call it furniture or show room. Usually a well placed flash can let me get up on one or two guys running out of there. I know their spawn is back in the loading dock just around the corner so i'll hold up just short of entering show room for a few seconds and usually without fail one of the guys I just killed comes sprinting out of show room with complete disregard only to get shot again.

I ran into a guy last night that would fire 1 round then lay down... with assassin on i ran right past him 3 times before i figured out what was going on. (playing kc on HC) then i just shot everything on the ground for a while to make sure they were dead lol.

I don't know how i feel about that.. i mean i felt dumb but it seems like a lame ass way to play but... i can imagine its funny to see people run by then ambush them.


What i came in here to ask is... what do you like better, bouncing betty's or claymores?

claymores, solely because they trigger faster and you can survive a BB easily by going prone. it explodes right over you.

Tried an LMG class after watching the vid posted above. I swear I put at least three rounds in a few guys and didn't kill them. I got better after a while but still not close to my AR or SMG classes.

I tried the M60 for a bit yesterday. Things got infinitely better once I got grip. Kick alone can't come close to comparing to grip alone.

I still don't think there are any advantages over an AR. I did have alot of fun taking down air support with blind eye. I had a couple of triple feeds. I'll probably try this one a bit longer, and then try the LW86 or w/e, but I don't have much hope at this point.

the vids i watched pretty much said don't bother with the m60 unless it's at close range. which the trigger is a little slow to fire compared to smgs (it seems) to get the kill.
