A Saha hat trick would be the icing on the cake... for the first half

The movement and passing was orgasmic. ORGASMIC. And all Spurs style as well.

Just can't pull an ArsenLOL and lose after being up 4-0 on Newcastle.

That's not going to happen with Dawson and King back there

No Rafa or Lennon today either

[Edited on February 11, 2012 at 1:25 PM. Reason : maybe they arent as key as I had previously thought]

I feel like Rafa slows the team down a lot of the time. We're so much more dangerous when we're flying like this. You just see Adebayor, Bale, Modric, Kranjcar etc streaking down the field never giving the defense a chance to get their backs to goal and defend. Rafa slows us down a lot and likes to hold play up. Lennon plays right into this tactic though but he's not as creative or technical as Krancjar. I'm ecstatic to see Niko getting a run. I think he's trffic.

But really all this means is that we have many more tactical options than people think, which is never a bad thing.

Anyone see Dempsey's strike that got ruled an own-goal? Stupid technicality because that was a nasty shot.

Of all the message boards that I frequent(Yes. I'm quite an idle guy!), the Spurs fans are over represented here. How many Spurs fans are there on TWW?

I'm not a Spurs fan but I think that a lot of us are new to the sport in general on here (I never paid ANY attention to the game until 2003 when I spent time in England and went to 2 games - one at Upton Park and one a Fulham home game at Loftus Road) and were looking for a team to pull for.

Tottenham is a good club who in the last 5-6 seasons has been relevant, but not one that anyone can claim would be a "front-running" team to choose to root for.

** Also, Mancini is a cunt if he lets Tevez back because he feels it slipping away...

Myself and Ribs are the only Spurs fans I know of on TWW. Most of the other teams have more supporters than that. I've been liking Spurs off and on for about 5 years or so now. Back when Robbie Keane and Berbatov were playing for them but I didn't start to officially claim them as my favorite team until last year when they started playing Champions League. I wouldn't consider myself a bandwagoner though. I originally began liking them when I first learned they were bitter rivals of Arsenal, a team I really despised back around 7 years ago. So I picked them not because I liked Tottenham, but because I disliked Arsenal. But now I'm all Spurs.

I'm a big Spurs fan I just don't post in here that often. Unfortunately due to my work schedule and the backwards cable programming options here in AL I don't really get the option to see too many of their games. The area I'm from in London is right next to Tottenham so I grew up in a Spurs family. My brother joined the dark side when he was a teenager though and started supporting Arsenal due to some of our childhood friends that lived across the street. This has been a fun season for me to give him shit about it.

One more Tottenham fan ITT.

Ever since the 08-09 season when Modric and Corluka signed on to play. I loved watching Spurs beat out City for a CL spot in 09-10. Pure magic

My best friend is a tottenham fan (pre berbatov era) so Ive been following them closely (ie hearing about them everyday). Theyre a really fun to team to follow given the football they play and, all things considered, largely british squad.

Im personally a liverpool fan from the crouch days but have since fallen into a charlie adam depression.

^Another reason I hate Spurs fans.

Who the fuck do you think you are? Hazard? to Spurs? Are you out of your competely delusional mind? Your best signing in the last 10 years has been an out of favor - no one else gave a shit about- van der Vaart. Don't get me wrong...great signing. But you think you're going to beat out Real, Barcelona, etc for Hazard?

Come. Off. It.
