So, after months of reading this thread I finally got to try this restaurant last weekend.


Holy god, this chicken was simply amazing. Just perfect. I had the fried chicken and waffle. The chicken was just so dense and succulent, my mouth is just watering thinking back on it. The waffle was wonderful also. The drizzled honey brought all the flavors together, making it just so superb.

This place has ruined fried chicken for me, it was just so perfect-- no one can ever top it.

Saw Chuck's now has a chicken sandwich on the menu. Was tempted to order it but I always go for the Spirit Animal.

Went to Beasleys last night for dinner.
I got the chicken biscuit and a side of some nasty shit they call baked beans.

The chicken was decent. It was juicy on the inside but the outside was a little too greasy and not very crunchy. The pickled green tomato slices were gross. The biscuit was outstanding. The waitress only came out to fill our drinks once. Took forever for the food to be served. And yeah $3.50 for a bowl of baked beans. Even if they were good its a bit overpriced. Just have an entree and two smaller side for the price I paid and it would've been a good deal.

If I go back it'll probably just be for brunch or breakfast and I'll NOM on the biscuits.


Also just by looking at the menu it's a lot of food I ate growing up because we were poor yet they've tried to jazz it up and over charge.
