Well, Christmas letters are supposed to be pretty positive with a few light-hearted jokes at your own expense. And they did that shameless plug in last year's Christmas video so they're consistent in promoting their businesses or whatever. They're just being dorks and having fun with their kids.

But, uh, don't go to pennternet.com. There, he explains how he thinks his writing is original. It blew my mind, and I haven't been able to think straight ever since.
