That's the thing about sports. Good teams can be taken out by bad teams, good teams can have an off night, bad teams can have games where everything seems to be falling for them, etc.

^You're right. Seems like every game we'll get out to a sluggish start. And then have a 5 minute scoring drought toward the end of the first half. And then another scoring drought about halfway through the second half. Nearly every game...even against the cupcakes.

We all know what duke wants to do, shoot 3's and FT's. We can't give them open looks (both howell and leslie tend to get lost on rotations and switches which duke will capitalize on) from outside or they'll shoot us out of the gym.

Gotta keep nolan out of the lane which will be a huge problem given that our defense on oppsing pg's is terrible. Nolan can actually finish when he drives which is different than dukes PGs the past few years who always just looked to kick It out (scheyer and paulus)

Duke doesn't rebound well at all so we need tons of 2nd chance pts by hammering them on the offensive glass

Duke forces a ton of turnovers and doesn't turn the ball over much so hopefully the crowd will help neutralize that advantage

Duke isn't deep, they will get fatigued against our size and athleticism. We have to take advantage of the black athlete vs white ones advantage.

Duke plays at a higher tempo than we do (tho it is slower wo irving), we have to establish our slower tempo. Don't let harrow and brown get caught up in playing too fast and letting duke dictate the pace.

I feel like lorenzo is a tough matchup for their guards he needs to have a coming out party.

But the real key is leslie, howell, and smith just destroying duke on the interior on both sides of the court. We need dunks, blocks, rebounds, drawn fouls, you name it we need it from those three.
