I'd be so pissed if I was Ward. He stops Crosby and Malkin, and our big guns don't do shit, besides Jussi doing his usual shootout bullshit (beautiful I must add). And i hope never to see staal in a shootout again.


That being said. We played a hell of a third period, got to see an amazing save, and a sweet shootout goal.....not too disappointed with the performance

I thought tonight was going to be a hockey miracle. One of those stories to tell. But nope.

I haven't worn a hat to a hockey game since I was probably 12 years old. For one, I look stupid in most hats, and also I know that if a hat trick is scored I WILL be throwing it. Well, I've had my eye on that white 2010 draft hat since I first saw it, and at the 2nd intermission we had scored all of 1 goal in the 3 games I have attended this season (missed the Florida game), so I went downstairs to The Eye and bought the hat. I figure I would pay $25 up front for a hat trick anyway, so it's worth a shot.

Sure enough, Whitney scores 2 goals. Thought for sure he was gonna get the third.
