for one thing, america is never mentioned in the world-wide situations that go on in the end times, and people have always wondered why
maybe this is it?

Fuck biblical shit.
We should nuke the entire fucking middle east...turn it into a gigantic pile of fucking glass.
Problem solved.
We nuked Japan for less. Ill bet you George "lets pray" Bush just sits on his ass and does nothing about this.
This is fucking war..no ifs, ands, or buts.

well yeah the end takes a long long time, but it could be the beginning

that'd almost be a relief.

"You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. nation will rise agains nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains."

revelation 18:9

"The kings of the earth who commited fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning. Standing at a distance for fear of her torment saying 'alas, alas, alas, that great city babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour your judgement has come.'"

Wars and attacks on other societies have occured since man first started organizing into communities and there are always rumors of war. That being said, I think that the quote by kdawg is a pretty weak indication of anything. (No offense to ya kdawg, just my own personal view)

i've had the personal opinion that we have been in the era of the end times, that we wouldn't make it to 2030...

this kind of reinforces my opinion... this is crazy. the world's economic center (NYC) has been attacked by forces in the middle east, that fulfills at least one of the things that would happen just before the end times...

I feel confident that I will arrive to Heaven when my time comes, but I will not just sit and watch it come. If it's really meant to be, then God will choose my path, until then, I will do what I think is right.

the end isn't here. those dumb camel jockies aren't in paraidise, they're just scattered over the nyc region. i wish all these people would realize it, it's not worth it to die over some bogus, archaic religion.

i don't put stock in religion. religion hasn't done a damn thing for anyone. put a few guys up on the cross, knocked a few buidlings, but that's about it. i believe in the state. it brings order.

Finkus you are thinking about religion in too much of a fundamentalist manor. True religion is a personal system of beliefs.

i think religion is just an excuse to be a deviant and not do what you're supposed to. didn't accmoplish what you should have in this life? well don't worry there's a great whole other thing after you die, bullshit. the afterlife is just like promising a winning lottery ticket to the have-nots. and by the way, if an afterlife is all you care about, then fuck you, it's funny how people can talk about love then talk about how judgment day is going to be so great. if you believe it, and if you love people, then you should be out spreading the message, until then, fuck you, cold hearted sack of shit.

it's not just about AFTERLIFE......... it's about making the best of this life, being the best person you can be... christianity isn't about what you've done or haven't done........ good deeds aren't what get you into heaven, and missing a good deed doesn't keep you out...... it's about faith

and i'll say it now, if god and heaven is about judgement, then it's for the birds. if it's about letting in fucking degenerates that just happen to have accept some faith or dogma over the other, and if it's about excluding those that dedicated their lives to helping others who didn't accept it, then fuck it, i don't want anything to do with it. if that means i go to hell, which i'm not sweating as of now, then so be it, i don't want anything to do with it. by the way, when christ said the meek of the earth, he wasn' talking about you. he was talking about the palestinians that get shit on by western powers.
