During an IM with a friend just now we were talking about the responses of people at State. He said that most people were ignorant fuckers and he based this on people walking around and laughing about the situation. I defended the people and said that this whole incident has not sunk in yet. Maybe I am wrong and maybe I am not for defending peoples responses, but a quote my friend said pretty much sums up what will probably happen "they'll probably walk around with their cell phones and drive through with their SUV's and sound systems blasting, wearing Oakley sunglasses and trying to get pussy"....

i had this problem with some people on TWW today... some people took this way too lightly.. making jokes and arguing just to start an argument and laugh.... this is a serious issue ;x

I agree.. people need to understand that this is going to affect the USA very negatively, and I hope we bomb the shit out of whoever did it... I can't believe they are holding a "vigil" in raleigh for a non-violent response... thats just messed up...they kill around 10,000 of our people and we are supposed to have a non violent response? no no... we have a non violent response and we are basically saying...hey terrorists, come bomb the shit out of us... we wont do anything... anyone agree?

They laugh because it's a distraction. I've been guilty of it before. Not everyone wants to deal with this all at once, so the distraction is good for them.

ive seen ppl go nuts in an extreme way screaming and worrying about a draft and such... as much as im glad to see them think this is a serious issue there are also some people blowing it out of proportion already... just need to calm down and look at whats happened in a serious manner...

the "vigil" is to pray for those who died and their families. then bomb the ones responsible.

I noticed that shit as well. Seems like the majority didn't seem to either care or it didn't bother them much at all. Campus was unusually quiet, there wasn't much talking going on in general, but those that were were laughing and carrying on as if nothing in the world was wrong. While up to 50,000 people were and are laying in a fucking pile of rubble. Unbelievable.

I understand that people deal with things differently, but to make light of 10000+ fellow americans who are dead or dying right now is just plain FUCKING wrong. This just goes to show how bad human nature is sometimes, I dont know who is worse the people who have commited the crimes or the people who sit there and laugh about what happened.
