best bet is a $300 dell. OSX doesnt support dual core yet, and only the onboard 900 series intel video has acceleration.Oh and it ran absolutely fine on my A64 3500+ btw. You dont need intel.[Edited on August 27, 2005 at 9:46 PM. Reason : .]

^what you work for dell?if your building a cheap system for normal daily computer, chances are you don't need dual core. besides, dual core p4's suck compared to amd 64x2. A normal p4 or amd64 will do most jobs for average users. Computers have gotten pretty fast that normal content creation doesn't take that long to render.Tell us what you want to do with the computer.
