Post 'em here:Bob McDonnell called in Va.
11/3/2009 8:30:42 PM
looks like VA GOP swept most of the elections races - by a huge percentageat least with about 50% reporting
11/3/2009 8:34:41 PM
supernow they'll realize they can't fix the economy, the war or health care, either[Edited on November 3, 2009 at 8:49 PM. Reason : congrats on your win!]
11/3/2009 8:46:58 PM
It'd be nice if most politicians realized that they generally fuck up more than they fix.
11/3/2009 8:48:53 PM
doomed since '46
11/3/2009 8:49:51 PM
Rofl - I just tuned into msnbc for the liberal spin... Olbermann is showing clips from 1940 era baseball games.
11/3/2009 8:52:26 PM
NJ still too close to call
11/3/2009 8:58:23 PM
Good: Dems will hopefully throttle back before they fuck anything up even more catastrophically. Little or no good comes from Democrats.Bad: GOP didn't quite yet have its spirit completely broken--now they probably will be emboldened again to keep doing the same dumb shit that they've been doing for more than a decade, whereas maybe if they could've gotten absolutely demolished in another election or two, to the point that they were pushing irrelevance, they would stop spending money like drunken Democrat sailors and trying to fuck little boys while pushing a Puritan agenda...along with waving their collective dick at the entire world even when it isn't necessary.
11/3/2009 9:12:24 PM
A+
11/3/2009 9:36:37 PM
Why would this convince the Dems to throttle back? The republicans will likely win a district that they've held since 1852, but in order to do it they had to hold one of their own up as a sacrifice and have started a fracture in the party.Virginia will get a Republican governor, mainly because Deeds was a lousy candidate and IT'S VIRGINIA!NJ might get a Repub governor, or they might not. The GOP saw an unpopular governor who could be easily ousted and nearly pulled a Kerry by throwing up an unelectable jerk. Out in California, it looks like the Dems will maintain a seat in a district that actually does swing between parties. It's hardly a signal to the Dems to throttle back.
11/3/2009 9:37:22 PM
Virginians are racists.
11/3/2009 9:39:28 PM
I'm curious to see what NY-23 shakes out to be
11/3/2009 9:39:43 PM
Really? I thought they were just southern conservative, at least for the most part.

I'm still chuckling at Olbermann dedicating his show to 1940's era baseball footage. That says it all, right there. Kind of erases all the democrat spin about how this election doesn't matter
11/3/2009 10:03:29 PM
GOP wins NJ... Obamacare is dead
11/3/2009 10:30:36 PM
11/3/2009 10:35:15 PM
THE GOP IS BACK BABY!
11/3/2009 10:38:44 PM
And democrats take it up the ass
11/3/2009 10:39:27 PM
I agree with Duke. But its a good night so far. I hope washington is paying attention. The margins are huge too
11/3/2009 10:40:40 PM
Don't try to be so transparently evenhanded duke... There's no reason to believe that the GOP needed the scenario u described. Look at '94... Sure things degraded from there, but power corrupts simply and there's no reason to believe that an extended period of irrelevancy would keep corruption at bay for any longer than otherwise[Edited on November 3, 2009 at 10:42 PM. 11/3/2009 10:43:27 PM
Hmmm inaugurations in 2010....?
11/3/2009 10:45:01 PM
RESULTS:Same old shit. Different fuckers.
11/3/2009 10:45:16 PM
The only thing I see in this election is potential to defeat obamacare
11/3/2009 10:49:21 PM
Unfortunately, we have the same problem we always did with the either-or logical fallacy of a two-party system: When you throw one set of bums out, you have to throw the other set of bums in. One day, we'll truly realize that there is a third way--and beyond.A few predictions of commentary from bitter left-wing partisans about tonight's elections:Midterm elections don't really matter, rabble, rabble, rabble! The electorate likes divided government, grumble, grumble, grumble.People are stupid, blah, blah, blah. How is this a referendum on Obama? Anybody who votes Republican is an idiot! LOL![Edited on November 3, 2009 at 11:01 PM. Reason : .]

11/3/2009 11:12:40 PM
^^ Dude, STFU. I don't post to suit you.I tell you my philosophy and ideology (as I've done a gazillion times here) and you call me a liar. Great way to try to reach me.FYI: This thread isn't about me. It's about all the D-Losers tonight and stopping Obama's radical agenda.[Edited on November 3, 2009 at 11:15 PM. Reason : .]

11/3/2009 11:20:44 PM
FYI -- I voted for McDonnell b/c he promises to widen 66 which is next to my apartment, not b/c Obama is black. Can't speak for the rest of the electorate though.
11/3/2009 11:29:21 PM
11/3/2009 11:30:41 PM
didn't you hear... the only reason anyone votes republican anymore is because they are racists against barack obama... if they tell themselves its because of a real issue that affects their lives, that's only to make themselves feel better about their racism.
11/3/2009 11:31:07 PM
^ LOL!
11/3/2009 11:44:11 PM
I love how all the statements about racism have solely come from republicans so far... persecution complex much?
11/3/2009 11:45:34 PM

11/3/2009 11:58:30 PM

11/3/2009 11:58:41 PM
