Those labels are completely meaningless without context.
12/15/2009 4:28:35 PM
Do you consider yourself a liberal or conservative? Don't think about it too hard.
12/15/2009 4:31:00 PM
In regards to what?

I used to be socially and fiscally conservative. But seeing how fucked up things are these days I'm now merely fiscally conservative.
12/15/2009 4:46:05 PM
Strong fiscal conservative, social moderate.Minimalist
12/15/2009 4:48:15 PM

i dont like labels.so i consider myself anti-labeltarian.
12/15/2009 6:08:25 PM
I think the OP is trying to prove that TSB is liberal.I'm archconservative
12/15/2009 6:14:41 PM
I, on the other hand, adore labels. They allow me to put people into neat little preconceived boxes by which I can judge them as worthy of my attention. It absolves me of the need for complex thought and allows me to angrily denounce you because my label is simply better than your label.
12/15/2009 6:16:07 PM
classical liberalmodern day conservative
12/15/2009 6:18:32 PM
Does libertarian count as liberal to the OP, because if so he's onto something.I also consider myself an ally of everyone from socialists to paleoconservatives on some issues. I'm not writing a thesis on my beliefs. Eventually I narrow it down like everyone does at election time and vote in The TSB Straw Poll![Edited on December 15, 2009 at 6:36 PM. Reason : .]

Free Markets, Small Gov't, and Vampires are filthy evil undead...not hunky heart-throbs.
12/15/2009 9:28:36 PM
I believe in small government, individual freedom (aka no social conservatism), and a strong national defense. basically, if you think JFK was a conservative, then I guess I'm a conservative....

12/15/2009 11:05:41 PM
lock it up. unoriginal op and now just a symantics straw man catastrophe waiting to happen.
12/15/2009 11:10:54 PM
^^ i think that question could be asked to a fair amount of TSB threads
12/15/2009 11:13:06 PM
^^ where's the strawman?
12/15/2009 11:14:13 PM
Leave it open and argue with the alias. That would be entertaining.
12/15/2009 11:16:12 PM
I don't understand why everyone thinks she's an alias. There are plenty of people dumb enough to say all the things she says.

hard to tell before it happens but sooner or later someone will engage me get owned and then resort to one. wait for someone to reply to my post seriously and then watch it all unfold. The same could be said with anyone that gets engaged by someone and then twists definitions of "liberal" "conservative" "humanist" etc. it all goes downhill from there.
12/15/2009 11:40:42 PM
I wasn't aware that the majority of people living in Denmark were nuts. Are we going off an American-centric definition of nuts? Cause that's just stupid.
12/15/2009 11:41:00 PM
I guess being an extremely strong environmentalist would be considered liberal? But ideally I'd like to put the conserve back in conservative. But I am socially liberal yet fiscally moderate to conservative except for when it comes to money for the environment. Try and stuff that in your little boxes.

Given the options, liberal. Here is one of those tests that pits the social and economic aspects on a grid. I took this test once several year ago, and again more recently. I think there is a 3 to 6 year gap between my taking these two tests. Here is another test I took at some point:[Edited on December 16, 2009 at 8:51 AM. Reason : .]
