4/30/2012 3:53:41 AM
Kraft ftw.all others can fuck off
4/30/2012 5:17:17 AM
Wait why were those specific companies chosen? Also where is Post on that chart? It was once owned by Kraft but doesn't have so much as a "spin-off" designation.
4/30/2012 6:29:02 AM
Guys, Ron Paul would single handedly make hundreds of other companies get into this game.YOU'LL SEE!!!!11
4/30/2012 9:08:21 AM
Just needs Alcohol.

4/30/2012 9:20:05 AM
False.Ninety percent of what I consume is beer.
4/30/2012 9:32:46 AM
Is this news to anyone?
4/30/2012 9:33:22 AM
Its not news and I dont care. Some of that chart is just plain stupid. To make it look bigger, they mixed brand names with product names. They put mello yello in the same "tier" as a brand like KFC or Taco Bell. They might as well have another bubble coming off of KFC with 100 items in it, to make it look even more menacing.
4/30/2012 10:28:35 AM
4/30/2012 10:35:16 AM
I found this interesting unlike all the other douchebag trolls.
4/30/2012 10:39:45 AM
You would have to be a retard to not realize this. Every other week at a grocery store one of these companies has a super or ultra sale.Basically 1/3 of the shit that is not on the perimeter of the store goes on sale (generally the perimeter consists of perishables) The reason for this is that all of that shit is owned by the same people. You would have to be retarded to not realize this.0/10 trollokay 1/10 because i responded twiceI'm Krallum and I approved this message.[Edited on April 30, 2012 at 10:44 AM. Reason : there i spaced it out for retard's giant picture]

I would like to see one of these charts for the media (tv, radio, etc)Then see how unbiased they all are...
4/30/2012 2:15:52 PM
It's almost like corporations only exist to make money.
4/30/2012 2:29:40 PM
4/30/2012 4:38:28 PM
I don't see the whole POWER thing you're alluding to.You have yet to make an actual point, argument or even hypothesis. The thread title is inaccurate, and isn't anywhere near the majority of what people consume.
4/30/2012 4:42:59 PM
Actually, I own everything I consume. And if you want to argue that, I dare somebody try and come repossess it.
4/30/2012 4:45:40 PM
4/30/2012 4:50:21 PM
And there's GE, who owns everything else not in that chart.
4/30/2012 5:29:39 PM
Looks like I'll need to go to Whole Foods!
4/30/2012 5:36:49 PM
I'm proud to only consume 1 product off that whole entire list.

General Mills
4/30/2012 7:22:11 PM
Yeah Ron Paul would make us all own a part.
4/30/2012 7:28:47 PM
Hi, I'm roflpack. I don't know anything about Ron Paul so I guess I'll make something up.
4/30/2012 7:59:52 PM
I honestly thought Kashi was an independent brand
4/30/2012 10:08:52 PM
^It's still independently run. And, if they didn't get acquired by Kellogg's, then their products probably wouldn't be so widely available. If you want independent, you could switch to Nature's Path products.
5/1/2012 5:56:56 PM
Who the fuck cares.Just buy the shit that you like and enjoy.God damn.
5/1/2012 6:00:12 PM
Making your own granola is pretty easy too.
5/1/2012 6:04:30 PM
^^I actually agree.I presented the Nature's Path alternative to illustrate the silliness.[Edited on May 1, 2012 at 6:05 PM. Reason : ]

You know what would be new?If you took an aggressive stance against it instead of accepting it.That would be new.
6/14/2012 3:45:27 PM
None of them own Pabst Blue Ribbon, and if they don't own Pabst Blue Ribbon I don't give a rat's ass.
6/14/2012 3:45:47 PM
Pabst Blue Ribbon (PBR) is a brand of beer sold by Pabst Brewing Company, originally established in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but now based in Los Angeles.[1] Pabst Blue Ribbon is contract-brewed in six different breweries around the U.S. in facilities owned by Miller Brewing Company (a few of which were actually Pabst breweries at one time). The Miller Brewing Company is an American beer brewing company owned by the United Kingdom-based SABMiller. SABMiller plc (LSE: SAB, JSE: SAB) is a global brewing and beverage company headquartered in London, United Kingdom. It is the world's second-largest brewing company measured by revenues (after Anheuser-Busch InBev) and is also a major bottler of Coca-Cola.[SABMiller has its primary listing on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index. It had a market capitalisation of approximately £35.6 billion as of 23 December 2011, making it the 11th-largest company on the London Stock Exchange.[5] It has a secondary listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
