So, I hadn't heard of this until I read the following article:What Your Klout Score Really Meanshttp://www.wired.com/epicenter/2012/04/ff_klout/all/1and while i think it's somewhat weird, I'm also intrigued. Anyone use it? I added my facebook, twitter, linkedin, and instagram accounts, and I have a Klout score of 48. I don't know if this is good, bad, or whatever. Interesting concept though, but like many other novel ideas of dubious utility, my guess is that this will die within a year.To me, this is a measure of how much time you waste on non-productive bullshit. I've been on Klout for a while, but I never check it to see how my score is doing.I did get an email this morning saying a new friend just joined....that's the extent of me paying attention to it.My score is 61 but I need to connect my twitter and google+

I was at 51 like a month ago but it has for some reason slowly gone down 44 despite my actual social media presence seemingly improving as a result of my photography work with a couple of music blogs so FUCKIT[Edited on May 17, 2012 at 11:48 AM. Reason : .]

Maybe you could Google "Klout" and click the big button that says "sign in with Twitter" or something like that.

there's a pretty interesting thread on Reddit on this, but basically Klout is largely dependent on TwitterThus, I had a score of 14 or so

this is dumb.

A score positively correlated with Twitter use is not a score you should want to increase.

If companies are really making hiring decisions (i doubt it's actually true), based on klout scores, then they are bad at making hiring decisions.

I agreeNot even sure what this site really means. It does tell you what you tend to talk about a lot though. I guess that can be insightful?

Boss is friends with the guy (CEO?) from this company. We include Klout scores with social media inbox messages. It just a useful tool to gauge how effective you are being in reaching an audience.
