No it isn't. Even if there aren't a lot of new members signing up and posting, we are all still here to keep things going.

Do you see yourself posting on this website in 3 years? What about 5 years from now? How about 10 years from now?
9/4/2012 12:53:50 AM
"points to 'Old School' section"
9/4/2012 12:59:48 AM
as long as the server stays up
9/4/2012 1:00:15 AM
As long as BubbleBobble has no other place to pad his post count, this place will always exist.
9/4/2012 1:07:00 AM
^^^^No.But I also didn't see myself still posting on here 3, 5, or 10 years later when I joined.
9/4/2012 8:19:53 AM
Don't be silly. this place died a quick death about 6 years ago
9/4/2012 8:22:09 AM

9/4/2012 6:48:45 PM
I think I have posted here for 10 yearsthat's fucked up, yo
9/4/2012 6:49:33 PM
TWW's fine. A large number of the users posting when I joined aren't around anymore (FUCK!, aielman, fredbot3000, Frygandes, etc.), but many still are. Also, half the users on the site these days weren't really around five years ago.
9/4/2012 6:55:29 PM
Stupid thread is stupid. If anything it's on a plateau. People have been making threads like this for nearly 10 years, but here we are.]
9/4/2012 7:21:36 PM
I miss FUCK!.

9/4/2012 8:30:51 PM
Yeah TWW is some sort of zombie website now. marko needs to make a zombie wolf icon.

9/4/2012 8:53:42 PM
Agreed, it's in a slow decline, It may be around for a while longer but it doesn't have the user base that it did a few years ago. I think it's mostly due to sites like facebook and reddit.[Edited on September 4, 2012 at 9:35 PM. Reason : it's]

It seems like a lot of people disappear off the internet once they have kids, with the exception of posting kid pics to Facebook of course.
9/5/2012 12:17:56 AM
^This! A lot of people also graduated and got fulltime jobs,so they don't have time for tww anymore.
9/5/2012 12:25:21 AM
TWW was a social networking site (ahead of its time). When I signed up it was just so I could put pics in the photo gallery and use classifieds, now the gallery is one of the shittiest most underpowered functions of the site.
9/5/2012 12:28:27 AM
^The problem is you have to pay to be able to add hundreds of photos. You can do that for free on facebook, myspace, photobucket, and whatever new photo hosting websites there are.
9/5/2012 12:52:07 AM
thats not a problem, its what, five fucking dollars? $10? Thats not keeping anyone from doing it.
9/5/2012 12:54:09 AM
^except college students who don't pay for shit.
9/5/2012 12:57:52 AM
eh, I dont think anyone on here is in college much anymore... if there were a TON of college kids wanting to get on here then yes, maybe some would say "fuck that, I'm not paying $5"
9/5/2012 1:02:45 AM
The fact that it sucks is keeping people from doing it, and there are way better places to host/store your photos now. I am going to go across the top bar.Calendar - sucks, facebook events is a much better place to advertise/promote an event. Books - A really cool feature, but it has not been maintainedSchool Tool - I don't even know what this is?Photo Gallery - Limited storage, no share buttons, mainly used for quickly uploading meme pics and funnies, used to be for posting actual pictures of doing stuff with your friends, but that's what Facebook is for now. Users - (profiles) The only IM screen name you can put in is for AIM....AIM? What about google talk, FB, twitter, etc. All of those things came later and are not supported. Statistics - TWW is a perpetual sausage party, the M/F ratio has never been good. Advertise - At least they fixed the issue where the third party ads were keeping pages from loading. Site Info - ...TWW definitely still serves a purpose, but its not the same purpose it did ten years ago, and the amount of current students on this board is at an all time low, meaning they will not still be using it after graduation/drop out like we all are.
