Say what you will about the band itself and how they are, but teir music up until about 1990 is awesome, especially their first three albums.

^yep. And Justice for All was pretty good, but a departure from their earlier stuff. I completely lost interest after that (I did buy the Black album, but couldn't get into it at all. And lost all respect for them after watching them cry and moan in that documentary Some Kind of Monster
