I haven't been able to watch tonight but I know Liberty is supposed to be a really good shooting team, is it a luck difference or are we playing better defense tonight?

Well two of their really good shooters are listed at under 6 foot tall. So that's probably playing a part in it. They also haven't played anybody this season, unless you think Carolina University is a quality team.

No problem, i have lots of time.

I am also not watching, but I'm guessing it's a combination of better defense, poor shooting luck and liberty not actually being good.

Someone who actually watches the games here. We definitely played much better defense. Half their points have come in garbage time. We played up on the good shooters a lot better, didn't get lost watching the ball nearly as much. And outside of one fast break play where the guy launched from 9 feet behind the line, were really disruptive and kept them from getting shots up in rythym. There were a couple of times still where a guy was a little too open, but they missed a bunch of those too, so maybe the guy shooting in that moment was open on purpose.

Yeah look at their schedule. Not exactly playing tough games.

who among us, would you say, is on this sunshine squad you speak of? I think this may be what some may refer to as a false narrative. a strawman, as they say.

Liberty is such a "shitty team" that beating them only jumped us 12 spots in the NET rankings to #30.

When I hear (i think) that that Brett Decker dude leads the country in 3 points made and is 2nd in the country for 3P%, i fully expected him to hang 30+ on us.
