what NyM said about winning is a lot of it and SAF is the rest.

You grow tired of his attitude quick if you're not a fan of that club.

It's not just that they win a lot. It's that consistent winning creates a bandwagon and a vocal majority of douchebags (not anyone on TWW, just in general) and that gets old. Also, the media slobs over everything United.

Also, SAF is a prick.

Personally, there are some United players that are among my favorite to ever play the game (i.e. Best/Solskjaer/Owen), and some that I respect tremendously (i.e. Giggs, van der Saar, Schmeichel, van Nistelrooy); so the source of the hate doesn't stem from them winning. It's generated more from their fans and their managers when they do lose and, consequently, bitch. A humble United fan is like a rainbow shitting Unicorn. Until I see one, I'm not going to acknowledge their existence.

Walcott is now hurt and Vermaelen is out for 2 months (which means probably the entire season).

It was nice to have nearly a full 3 days of optimism between finally getting new signings and the core of the team being gutted by injuries.

I really do feel bad for Arsenal fans.

I'd much rather have a worthwhile Arsenal team that poses a challenge than a City team that just buys its way into competitions.

From what I've heard lately Oxlade-Chamberlin is tearing it up for U-21 England. Hopefully Wenger will get some use out of that £12m he spent on him this season. As long as Arteta stays healthy, he and Ramsey can hold down the midfield well during Wilshere's absence.

The Vermaelen situation sucks worse than Wilshere IMO. Vermaelen was the guy who kept the back organized. With 2 new signings at the back it might be a little rocky for a while, depending on how long it takes Per and Santos to adapt to England.

I think there is enough depth to compete in the EPL, it's combining those games with international and UCL games that is going to eventually be a problem if the injury situation doesn't improve.

Here's the full squad Wenger submitted to the FA. Lots of under 21 talent that will continue to get used I'm sure: http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/arsenal-submit-their-premier-league-squad

Foxsoccer.tv was a great buy for me. I've already made great use of it. Swinging around all sorts of games now. I don't much care for Ligue 1 but I suppose on the downtown before NFL games on Sunday's I could flip on a game.

Fuck, this is the problem with options. I miss goals.

I've said this before but I look at Stoke's roster and can't help but think they can compete for a Europa spot.

But then I see Peter Crouch

Stoke is no pushover, especially at home. Penalty was a bit soft and I think Carra was fouled before but his arm wrapped around him was dumb. I understand why it was called.

LOL at that Arshavin goal

Arteta's passing was mediocre...he would string together a few decent ones they just give the ball away. I think the talent is there but no one knows how to play together yet, so it looked like a mess at times. Definitely a lot of work to do in practice to get Arsenal where they need to be.

3 poaches for Man U...

Although Javier's run on the first goal was slick and Phil Jones earned some props for his set up of the third. Nani gets props too for playing with Vaseline on the back of his head.

Good thing Fletcher is fit again. Maybe this will allow Pogba to get a run too.

Dempsey and Dembele have been great today. Still need to grab 3 from this one, though.

Ruiz was less than impressive.

I'm surprised Fulham couldn't find another goal. They seemed to have several good build-ups but no really solid strikes after Zamora's. Robinson did make a couple of good saves though.
