crown his ass
10/2/2011 1:08:43 AM
Poor Nebraska.
10/2/2011 2:30:14 AM
I'm not bitter about what happened, so I'm just happy to watch the motherfucker play well.Today was fucking bonkers.
10/2/2011 3:18:31 AM
RW would have never had a chance at Heisman @ NCSU. Regardless of shoulda-woulda-coulda's... history shows nobody cares about NC State. We may have a good player from time to time but until we have a team that's consistently on the national stage, we're not looked at. Hope the kid wins it.
10/2/2011 6:56:24 AM
Even if anyone in the media would have been paying attention to him our defense would have torpedoed his chances.
10/2/2011 8:18:44 AM
Harrison Beck talks about Wilson... and doesn't make an ass of himselfhttp://www.omaha.com/article/20110927/BIGRED/709279802/1001
10/2/2011 9:38:41 AM
I had no idea he would have EASILY broken the ACC record for passing TDs had he stayed. 76 in 3 seasons is absurd...
10/2/2011 9:40:45 AM
That's interesting, but unsurprising. I mean, he had an NCAA record by the middle of his second year!
10/2/2011 10:01:04 AM
One other thing, I've always heard how great Camp Randall is, but I guess I never really watched many games on TV there... that student section is beyond good.
10/2/2011 10:17:07 AM
It looks fantastic on TV. Seeing it makes me want to make a trip up there for a game before the end of the season. It's only 3 hours away.
10/2/2011 10:41:36 AM
He is gonna need some Luck to win the Heisman...also, his RBs are equally deserving of it. Also, more Luck will be needed to go all the way. This should get him drafted though (mid rounds or late) which is what he really wanted to happen.[Edited on October 2, 2011 at 10:49 AM. Reason : w]
10/2/2011 10:46:53 AM
^ yeah, I'm having a pretty easy time being a closet wisconsin fan after watching that game last night.also:
10/2/2011 10:56:10 AM
10/2/2011 12:22:23 PM
it's pretty nuts that RW's o-line is bigger than Rodgers'
10/2/2011 12:28:09 PM
i like to pretend the 'W' on the Badgers' helmet stands for 'Wolfpack'
10/2/2011 1:01:25 PM
^^ yeah, i was somewhat surprised by that last night, but pretty nuts to think about.Imagine if he gets drafted. His jerseys will be bought up in large numbers by wisconsin fans, wolfpack fans, and fans of whatever NFL team picks him up. [Edited on October 2, 2011 at 5:00 PM. Reason : .]

thats why letting him go was such a bad move from a business point of view. I've heard from everyone in the business that christina aguilera is always VERY late to everything but you put up with it because shes a great singer and having her on the show will boost ratings.
10/2/2011 6:36:38 PM
we've hit a new low here in sports talk, folks. Russell Wilson has just been compared to Christina fucking Aguilera.^ and you do realize 1/2 the country would still not have heard about RW if he hadn't of transferred, right?
10/2/2011 7:06:48 PM
10/2/2011 7:08:48 PM
he'll be on Dan Patrick Show tomorrow at about 11:30am
10/2/2011 7:24:13 PM
Christina Aguillera? Why are you still posting? If RW & Wiscconsin keep it up, he's got a great shot. Something he definitely wouldn't have had here. And I guess I'm still happy for him.
10/2/2011 7:25:46 PM
Just think what RW would of been able to accomplish had he had the badgers OL for 4 years....
10/2/2011 10:38:39 PM
as a 2* ath coming out of hs, he probably wouldn't have had the opportunity. he definitely made the choice that was best for him.
10/2/2011 10:49:32 PM
I take it you guys don't watch the voice./tough crowd
10/2/2011 10:59:34 PM
That article about Wilson with quotes from Beck made me laugh really damn hard.
10/3/2011 12:06:31 AM
^ those are really good. i think "and stuff" makes the whole quote.
10/3/2011 12:32:54 AM
I bet the team knew better then to ask Beck to pass them the cheeseburgers.
10/3/2011 1:12:02 AM
Russell would have been wasted talent this year w/ our offense....he really made the right choice in wisconsin given his opportunity
10/3/2011 9:36:37 AM
He'll be on the Dan Patrick show in the 3rd hour
10/3/2011 9:38:29 AM
after this commercial break
10/3/2011 11:29:43 AM
lol doesn't even have the integrity to tell the truth about what happenedhow any state fan can still cheer for this kid is beyond me
10/3/2011 11:40:44 AM
?explain^
10/3/2011 11:42:52 AM
he dodged the question about how it all went down. not that I'd expect any less from someone who always puts himself before his team
10/3/2011 11:45:12 AM
he didn't tell it falsely, but he didn't tell the whole story
10/3/2011 11:46:03 AM
^ agreed---ignore goalielax. just another butthurt douchebag.
10/3/2011 11:48:56 AM
10/3/2011 11:50:34 AM
well he's not going to come out and say "if i was playing football in the fall, i was going to transfer either way, i just got lucky and TOB looked like he made the decision for me."
10/3/2011 11:50:49 AM
10/3/2011 11:57:31 AM
it's hilarious how much you guys fall all over yourselves to defend a guy who chose single A baseball over your schoolit's not butthurt. I don't care that he left. TOB made the right call. I don't think this team would be any different with him back at QB.[Edited on October 3, 2011 at 1:08 PM. Reason : .]
10/3/2011 1:05:43 PM
i mean, who wouldn't rather play pro baseball than play on this team?it's not like he CHOSE single a ball, everyone starts at single a.
10/3/2011 1:07:40 PM
10/3/2011 1:07:44 PM
what's not to defendhe'd be on the bench here....he's a heisman candidate in Wisc.
10/3/2011 1:08:06 PM
Our school is shit. Take the money, don't get hurt behind a line that can't protect you to go 6-6. He realized he couldn't hack it as a baseball player, transfered to a school that doesn't suck and now will get drafted. Am not mad at him, disappointed we aren't a better team that would get someone like Russ to stay.
10/3/2011 1:08:10 PM
also, who do I talk to around here to get the paul johnson thread bumped?
10/3/2011 1:10:18 PM
Don't even fucking start with the PJ cock slobbing.
10/3/2011 2:42:56 PM
It boils down to this (for me). He graduated, I'm going to cheer for him just like any other NCST alumnus.
10/3/2011 3:05:45 PM
^ That comment just literally made me change my mind on the whole situation. Thank you. I hadn't put it in that perspective.
10/3/2011 3:12:27 PM
^, ^^i was already in the 'support RW camp,' but well said.
10/3/2011 3:16:14 PM
People have only been saying that about his graduation for like two months now.
10/3/2011 3:39:35 PM
