I have to add:Kanye West - Late RegistrationMaximo Park - A Certain TriggerThe Go! Team - Thunder, Lighting, Strike
10/20/2005 6:20:58 PM
^Agreed. My nomination: Kanye West - Late Registration*******************************For future reference, there is a reason why obscure bands are obscure in the first place--because they suck and nobody likes them. In fact, if anyone on here likes bands that "only do vinyl" then it is safe to say their musical tastes suck as well. [Edited on October 20, 2005 at 7:13 PM. Reason : edit]

Propagandhi - Potemkin City LimitsI just got it last night, and I've been waiting on the damn thing for 4.5 years. It wins sheerly based on that, never mind the technical, artistic and political merits of the album.

10/21/2005 12:58:05 PM
It's been a pretty weak year for me so far--there have been a few really good albums but nothing all that outstanding.Favorite so far:My Morning Jacket - ZDoesn't stand up to It Still Moves, but an okay MMJ album is still better than most music out there.
