I am reminded of all those close games clemson lost because they were a terrible free throw shooting team for several years straight. I believe they lost a couple close ones to UNC that way.

anecdotally, i would say harrow is like a 90% free throw shooter from the walton games ive watched. i think brown is solid as well

just keep recruiting PGs to increase FT shooting. we already have enough white guys between wood, horner and mays. really, how the f are we so bad with all that

i wont even suggest coaching to improve since everyone who suggested that last time got lambasted for it

Our FT shooting isn't AS bad as the team number shows. The problem is that Tracy Smith and Josh Davis are getting themselves to the line a lot...and their FT shooting is atrocious.

^^ the few times he has made a decisive drive to the basket, good things have happened. You can see him thinking way too much about what he should be doing in pick and roll offense.

I'm split on my feelings about Mays. On one hand, he looks lost when he is playing. On the other hand, he has the best assist-to-turnover ratio (2:1) on the team, and I feel like often he is in at the same time as many of the less talented players.

As I've said many times, Mays is an undersized 2 guard...he does not bring the ball up court like you'd expect a 6'2 or 6'3 guy to bring the ball up the court...but he's got a very nice jump shot
