People are not fighting fascism. They probably think that, but they are really just fighting to get whatever dem faction lost some power in this last election get it back. There are some paths to a real authoritarian crackdown, like Trump getting assassinated and Vance taking over. The dudes deporting taco grandmas and landscapers are not that.

The optics of it are pretty bad and the right definitely loses the narrative war on it. Seeing a woman get pushed and then the guy she's with curb stomped and shot does not look good. Even if he had a gun. Same for Renee Good. She's just some defenseless lady that spent too much time online trying to do the right thing when she encountered a likely very stressed out Iraq vet with counter insurgency training.

I wanted a different crowd to run things, hopefully people that had a track record for getting shit done (like rockets and cars). Having streets clean (not $900k 400sq ft homes that addicts don't use), homes rebuilt in disaster areas, and projects like high speed rail finished without trillion dollar cost overruns.

Now I'll settle for not a real civil war. I like handmade tortillas too.

Would be cool if people actually didn't talk out of there ass and looked at actual cases, law, or fucking anything to bring to the table. Every social media post is the exact take. Like in the other thread bringing up trans whatever out of no where. And using emotional language and saying fuck me, before I'd even posted about it. So yeah I'll troll if the discourse if fuck me.
