I don't really see an issue with it if it is stuff that wasn't going to happen without AI tools. You could just as easily pay somebody a few thousand bucks to make some artwork and get a shitty result anyway. Nobody's got time to chase down a good artist for a quick one-off t-shirt. In this case, they got to make a fun t-shirt for the game and someone's business got paid to print it. Win is a win.
