awesome stuff. loved how they tricked ya into thinking cox's wife was the "surprise pregnancy"....great twist at the end.
5/16/2006 10:01:38 PM
^^that's what the carla/turk cox/jordan pregnancies are for, they didn't need to throw in that last twist]

nbc has already set scrubs up for season 6...they are going to do the same thing they did this season though, start it in january.
5/16/2006 10:15:36 PM
i think it's about time they let JD have a serious gf....hopefully this will be the start of that
5/16/2006 10:27:48 PM
and she actually has a girl's name
5/16/2006 10:37:36 PM
^^^read in usatoday that nbc only has 3 sitcoms returning next season. Scrubs, Earl, and the Office. basically it said not to be suprised if it starts airing in the fall. But then again scrubs does usually get shit on. the studio that produces scrubs is owned by disney (abc) so nbc really doesn't go out of its way for them[Edited on May 16, 2006 at 11:16 PM. That may be good news. Those are the only three sitcoms on NBC I really watch, aside from Teachers occasionally. It could be bad news, because it probably means they'll have sitcoms on 1 night a week, and they'll make 8 new Law & Order spinoffs to fill up the rest of the week.
5/17/2006 7:54:56 AM
Earl and the Office will continue on thursdays, but at 8 and 8:30.Two new comedies will be on NBC Wed. nights at 9, "20 Good Years" and "30 Rock". 30 Rock has a bunch of SNL people.
5/17/2006 8:28:22 AM
^ I would guess Scrubs could quickly replace one of the new comedies should one suck.
5/17/2006 8:29:20 AM
"30 Rock" is going to be a midseason replacement because "Studio 60 from the Sunset Strip" is hitting in the fall and it's basically an hour long dramatic version of the same concept as "30 Rock."As much as I adore Tina Fey, it would be stupid not to let Aaron Sorkin's new show go first.
5/17/2006 10:03:38 AM
so what happened to teachers? did it get cancelled? sarah shahi is fuckin hot
5/17/2006 3:15:03 PM
^^30 Rock and Studio 60 are both on NBC's fall schedule.
5/17/2006 5:44:22 PM
^Wow, my sources are worse than the ones that said Barnes was a done deal...But good for NBC.

First episode of new series was pretty good i thought. The funny parts were just like old times, and the sad parts hit wellLike the new young cast too]

This season was very gay friendly, especially 8th and 9th episode. Just finished season. I could see at least 3 real spectacular seasons. Maybe 5-6. Certainly easier if 9 per than 20+ perspoilers Dr Cox wife, bill lawrence wife...she is dreadful in last episode of season. Like seemed on drugs or drunk and like couldn't move face like she had a stroke. Must be the plastic surgery or botox or something. Anyways... I liked "why do you think i'm 6 years older line" in one of the episodes. I liked when cox is like "i know what everything on that page means". That scene was pretty fuckin deep and good.I wish more Todd, but Todd was great when used. I liked Vanessa Bayer did well in her part. I liked Hooch was there a few times. Wish Janitor was there sooner, liked tie in with son. Wish Dr Kelso had about as much time on show as Dr Cox had, and in turn Cox had more time. The way they write in JD and that one broad in 9th episode is so annoying. "Hey mom remember that cute guy" etc. I knew it when 6 year older dude told english dude to get home girl before he did that he wanted to get that. Good for him too. Didn't see englishman getting with the white girlIts crazy they pack so much good in a 22 min episode. Might post one more time if i think of some stuff. A few of these tv ppl(breaking bad/BCS/Pluribus dude), bill lawrence, etc...man its like they make such good stuff!Oh also, them divorcing was nice touchI'd give it 8.5/10[Edited on April 20, 2026 at 4:35 AM.
