THE MIRACLE ON THE SOUTHWEST BORDER: ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION SMASHED http://www.tombstonetumbleweed.com/This_Week/TheMiracleOnTheSouthwestBor.htm
Quote : | "by Congressman Charlie Norwood, 9th District, Georgia
An on-going miracle is occurring this month in America’s Southwest, a miracle with a direct impact on our district. After decades of being told that it is impossible to stop illegal immigration on the Arizona border, it has been all but halted since April 1 through the very means we were told wouldn’t work – dedicated manpower and willpower. " |
Think about that. A mere few hundred civilians can make a very significant impact in stopping illegal immigration, and yet we are to believe that our massive and powerful federal government can do nothing to stop it?! This exposes the fraud that the federal government is putting on in regards to illegal immigration. They are ALLOWING this illegal immigration to occur, and that is why it has gotten so bad. The border patrol is woefully inadequate, they have failed to deport millions of illegals, and they don't prosecute those employers who hire illegals.

What Schwarzenegger actually said was (paraphrasing) "Close the border. Pass President Bush's Guest Worker Bill." This is total spin. Bush's "guest worker" bill is a blanket amnesty plan. So, he isn't against illegal immigration. He's in favor of giving total amnesty to illegal aliens.
Also, he has now "apologized" for those remarks...saying he meant "secure" the border, not "close" it.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - (KRT) - Calling it a "total screw up," California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger apologized Wednesday for suggesting that the United States should "close the borders" with Mexico and said he never meant imply that this country should take such a drastic step.
The Republican governor, an Austrian immigrant for whom English is a second language, sought to cool the furor by clarifying his remarks and telling reporters he meant the country should secure the border, not close it.
"It was a total screw-up in the word that I used, because instead of closing, I meant securing," Schwarzenegger said after an impromptu Earth Day event on the roof of the California Environmental Protection Agency headquarters in Sacramento. Bush's "guest worker bill" is a trojan horse with a deceptive label or title, just like the Patriot Act. The bill doesn't just give amnesty to "a few farm workers." The bill gives TOTAL blanket amnesty to any person who gets into the United States within 6 years of the bill's passage. So, in a way, this bill will eliminate illegal immigration...BECAUSE AFTER THE BILL PASSES EVERY PERSON WHO GETS INTO THE US WILL BE GIVEN AMNESTY AND WILL BE HERE "LEGALLY."
Similarly, the "Patriot Act' is not patriotic. It is unpatriotic. It violates the Bill of Rights.
Politicians know that most people will just go by the label or title of the bill. So, most people hear "patriot act" and think, "That must be good." They don't think to read the actual language of the bill which authorizes secret searches that violate the 4th Amendment and allows indefinite detention of people without a trial.
So, Schwarzenegger goes to some meeting and says he's for "securing" the border and promotes Bush's guest worker bill. In reality, by supporting that bill, he's in favor of giving amnesty to all illegal immigrants.
It's pure deception.

Quote : | "Illegal Immigration Fears Have Spread Populist calls for tougher enforcement are being heard beyond the border states.
LA Times | April 25, 2005 By David Kelly
DENVER — The armed volunteers patrolling the Arizona-Mexico border may be the starkest sign of frustration with the nation's immigration laws, but across the country there is a growing populist movement also taking matters into its own hands.
In Washington, Colorado, Virginia and elsewhere, grass-roots organizations are forming to pass initiatives and pressure politicians into enacting laws denying benefits to illegal immigrants. There are already groups in seven states and more are expected by the end of summer. One congressman may even run for president on a platform of securing the border.
The issue, experts say, is affecting more people than ever before and the gap between the public and policymakers is widening.
"Immigration is now a national phenomenon in a way that was less true a decade ago," said Mark Krikorian, executive director of the nonpartisan Center for Immigration Studies in Washington. "In places like Georgia and Alabama, which had little experience with immigration before, people are experiencing it firsthand. Immigrants are working in chicken plants, carpet mills and construction. It's right in front of people's faces now, which is why it's become a political issue where it wasn't relevant before." " |

Please explain this:
The Zionists who run the world want the US to be overrun with illegal immigrants - this will help their aim of a world government.
The media (including the LA Times) is run by these same zionists.
Why would countless zionist media outlets report on the problem? It seems like the illegal immigration scam would go a lot smoother if it weren't publicized. The high numbers of illegal immigrants that were reported lead directly to the Minutemen Project, which has become a threat to illegals crossing the border.
Yet another hole.... 4/26/2005 12:39:56 PM |

Wouldn't it be entirely too suspicious if the mainstream media totally and completely ignored the illegal immigration problem? They don't give it enough coverage as it is. They just report on it every now and then to give the appearance of actually covering the issue to a deserving level. 4/26/2005 1:12:28 PM |

Can you prove that it is under reported? Thats something that you as an individual are incapable of measuring, but fortunately you have Jeff Rense to whip you into a frenzy with skewed numbers and unverifiable reports.
As far as reporting on it "every now and then"... I recall a good number of fairly high profile reports on illegal immigration in the past few weeks. This was all on the real news, no less. 4/26/2005 1:43:06 PM |

When the mainstream media does report on illegal immigration, they often do so in such a way as to put those who oppose illegal immigration on the defensive. You have these reports all the time about illegal immigrants and how they are being "victimized" and "mistreated", and how sweet and innocent these illegal immigrants are and how we need them to do all these jobs. Or they use more subtle tactics to push their agenda, such as referring to illegal immigrants by euphemisms such as "undocumented workers" or just "immigrants" (why bother including the "illegal" in the description, even though it is more accurate when using just "immigrant" implies that they are here legitimately).
So, yeah, the mainstream media reports on illegal immigration sometimes, but it does so most often not in a neutral fashion, but to further the agenda of the elite.

By Jerry Seper THE WASHINGTON TIMES
Minuteman Project organizers will tell members of Congress today that "ordinary citizens sitting in lawn chairs" stopped a flood of illegal aliens along the U.S.-Mexico border, and that if the country's elected leaders "will not defend our nation's borders, American citizens will."
Organizers James T. Gilchrist and Chris Simcox will tell the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus, during a closed meeting, that the Minuteman volunteers shut down alien traffic along a 23-mile section of border while bringing nationwide attention to a national security crisis, of which porous borders and illegal aliens are key components.
"We demonstrated that ordinary citizens have not only the will, but the means to secure our border," said Mr. Gilchrist, a retired California certified public accountant and combat-wounded Vietnam veteran.
Mr. Simcox, a Tombstone, Ariz., newspaper publisher and founder of Arizona's Civil Homeland Defense Corps (CHD), also will tell the caucus that the volunteers were successful "simply by maintaining a presence on the border," adding that 15,000 new volunteers "are ready, willing and able to do the job our president and Congress will not do.
"There is no compromise; we will continue to exercise our civic duty until relieved by the National Guard or the U.S. military," Mr. Simcox said. "The Minuteman Project's phenomenal success proved that our borders can be secured. Now it's time to take our message to Washington -- where the real battle begins."" |

By Jerry Seper THE WASHINGTON TIMES
U.S. Border Patrol agents have been ordered not to arrest illegal aliens along the section of the Arizona border where protesters patrolled last month because an increase in apprehensions there would prove the effectiveness of Minuteman volunteers, The Washington Times has learned.
More than a dozen agents, all of whom asked not to be identified for fear of retribution, said orders relayed by Border Patrol supervisors at the Naco, Ariz., station made it clear that arrests were "not to go up" along the 23-mile section of border that the volunteers monitored to protest illegal immigration.
"It was clear to everyone here what was being said and why," said one veteran agent. "The apprehensions were not to increase after the Minuteman volunteers left. It was as simple as that."
Another agent said the Naco supervisors "were clear in their intention" to keep new arrests to an "absolute minimum" to offset the effect of the Minuteman vigil, adding that patrols along the border have been severely limited. " |
The Border Patrol being ordered to not do the job it is required to do? Not a big surprise to me. That's a big reason why illegal immigration has gotten so bad in the first place. But to those that still don't know that illegal immigration is being allowed and encouraged by the elite that control our government, this article may be a big shock.

Illegal Alien Uprising Brewing in California? SOS Rally Exposes Growing Tensions http://www.alipac.us/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=409
To summarize, a group of patriotic Americans called "Save Our State" (SOS) organized a protest of a public monument (payed for by taxpayers) in Baldwin Park (in California) that is inscribed with a message stating that the (U.S.) land is and will always be Indian land. An angry and violent mob of illegal aliens and others gathered to protest SOS. They threw bottles and injured an old lady who was with SOS. They held signs saying that SOS members were "Nazis" and "racists." Other signs included ones saying "F' THE ALAMO", "YOU DON"T RULE US", "WHO'S THE ILLEGAL PILGRIMS?", and "MINUTEMEN BEWARE." The mob desecrated an American flag and chanted "This is Mexico", "You stole this land!", and "Get Out!"

Quote : | "CFR's Plan To Integrate The US, Mexico & Canada By Phyllis Schlafly 7-17-5 The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) has just let the cat out of the bag about what's really behind our trade agreements and security partnerships with the other North American countries. A 59-page CFR document spells out a five-year plan for the "establishment by 2010 of a North American economic and security community" with a common "outer security perimeter." "Community" means integrating the United States with the corruption, socialism, poverty and population of Mexico and Canada. "Common perimeter" means wide-open U.S. borders between the U.S., Mexico and Canada. "Community" is sometimes called "space" but the CFR goal is clear: "a common economic space ... for all people in the region, a space in which trade, capital, and people flow freely." The CFR's "integrated" strategy calls for "a more open border for the movement of goods and people." The CFR document lays "the groundwork for the freer flow of people within North America." The "common security perimeter" will require us to "harmonize visa and asylum regulations" with Mexico and Canada, "harmonize entry screening," and "fully share data about the exit and entry of foreign nationals." This CFR document, called "Building a North American Community," asserts that George W. Bush, Mexican President Vicente Fox, and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin "committed their governments" to this goal when they met at Bush's ranch and at Waco, Texas on March 23, 2005. The three adopted the "Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America" and assigned "working groups" to fill in the details. It was at this same meeting, grandly called the North American summit, that President Bush pinned the epithet "vigilantes" on the volunteers guarding our border in Arizona. A follow-up meeting was held in Ottawa on June 27, where the U.S. representative, Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff, told a news conference that "we want to facilitate the flow of traffic across our borders." The White House issued a statement that the Ottawa report "represents an important first step in achieving the goals of the Security and Prosperity Partnership."" |

More than 15,000 volunteers will man observation posts and conduct foot and horseback patrols this fall along the Mexican border from Texas to California and in seven states along the Canadian border in a new Minuteman vigil to protest what organizers call the government's lax immigration enforcement policies.
Chris Simcox, who heads the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, said volunteers from throughout the country who are "concerned that the U.S. government must be made to act and take control of our borders" are signing up in record numbers for the new monthlong patrols set to begin Oct. 1. "We want a secure U.S. border and an end to the blatant disregard of the rule of law regarding illegal immigration," Mr. Simcox said. "Nearly four years after the September 11 attacks on America, we should be doing a better job of securing our borders.
"Our government is more concerned with securing the borders of foreign lands than securing the borders of the United States," he said.
Mr. Simcox, publisher of a Tombstone, Ariz., newspaper and founder of the Civil Homeland Defense Corps in Arizona, coordinated the "Minuteman Project" border vigil in that state in April that for a 30-day period shut down a 23-mile stretch of the U.S.-Mexico border to illegal immigration." |

In a sharp break from American tradition, the Denver Public Library is promoting a plan that would make seven of its branches “Spanish focused,” banishing English language books to the backroom. The “Languages and Learning” plan would dramatically increase Spanish language offerings and staff, designating some locations as Spanish dominant. The proposal is currently under review by the Library Commission and an advisory board.
“Denver’s action is a dubious first in American history: a major U.S. city is creating a public institution that intentionally excludes native-born Americans,” explained Mauro E. Mujica, Chairman of the Board of U.S. English, Inc. “This action goes against the model of assimilation that has successfully served the United States for centuries.”" |

Governor says area 'devastated' by human and drug smuggling
Saturday, August 13, 2005
(CNN) -- New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson declared a state of emergency Friday in four counties along the Mexican border that he said have been "devastated" by crimes such as the smuggling of drugs and illegal immigrants.
The declaration said the region "has been devastated by the ravages and terror of human smuggling, drug smuggling, kidnapping, murder, destruction of property and the death of livestock. ...
"[It] is in an extreme state of disrepair and is inadequately funded or safeguarded to protect the lives and property of New Mexican citizens."
New Mexico shares 180 miles of border with the Mexican state of Chihuahua.
"The situation is out of hand," Richardson said Friday night on CNN, noting that one 54-mile stretch is particularly bad." |

By ALICIA A. CALDWELL The Associated Press Thursday, August 11, 2005; 7:50 AM
EL PASO, Texas -- Texas has become the fourth state to have a non-white majority population, the U.S. Census Bureau said Thursday, a trend driven by a surging number of Hispanics moving to the state.
According to the population estimates based on the 2000 Census, about 50.2 percent of Texans are now minorities. In the 2000 Census, minorities made up about 47 percent of the population in the second-largest state.
Texas joins California, New Mexico and Hawaii as states with majority-minority populations _ with Hispanics the largest group in every state but Hawaii, where it is Asian-Americans.
Five other states _ Maryland, Mississippi, Georgia, New York and Arizona _ aren't far behind, with about 40 percent minorities." |

USA Today | August 18 2005
More than 40 percent of Mexican adults say they would move to the U.S. if they could, and 1 in 5 say they would do so illegally if necessary, according to surveys released yesterday by the Pew Hispanic Center.
Surveys of 1,200 Mexican adults in February and 1,200 in May, conducted in their homes, show that Mexicans' rising education levels have not weakened the desire to live and work in this country.
More than a third of Mexican college graduates say they would come to the U.S. if they could, and more than 1 in 8 would do so even if they had to enter the country illegally, according to the surveys, the first of their kind.
"Contrary to what people might expect, the inclination to migrate isn't contained among Mexicans who are poor or poorly educated or with limited economic prospects," says Roberto Suro, director of the Pew Hispanic Center, a nonpartisan research group in Washington. "They're distributed across the whole breadth of Mexican society."" |

Quote : | "Warner urged to declare emergency in illegals crisis
THE WASHINGTON TIMES | August 24 2005
State legislators said yesterday that Virginia is facing an immigration crisis on par with Arizona and New Mexico and urged Gov. Mark Warner to declare an emergency like the governors of those two states did last week.
Delegate Jeffrey M. Frederick, Prince William County Republican, has asked Mr. Warner, a Democrat, to declare a state of emergency to stop the influx of illegal aliens into the state. Mr. Frederick said that even though Virginia does not share a border with Mexico, the state must take such action to tap federal homeland security dollars to fund police efforts to arrest illegal aliens and hand them over to federal immigration authorities.
"They might be coming through Arizona, but they are landing here," Mr. Frederick said. "It's getting out of control. We really need to do everything we can and utilize every tool that's available to us."" |

Quote : | "A national emergency
August 29, 2005
On Aug. 12, New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson declared a state of emergency "due to a chaotic situation involving illegal alien smuggling and illegal drug shipments" on his southern border. Three days later, Gov. Janet Napolitano followed suit in Arizona.
Reason: the crisis on the border. The ally-ally-in-free immigration policy of George Bush and Vicente Fox, beloved of corporate America, has created a hell on our southern border.
Those Southwestern states are being inundated by illegal aliens trashing ranches, killing cattle, committing crimes and eating up tax dollars. The traffic in narcotics and human beings from Mexico is a national scandal and a human-rights disgrace.
What is true of New Mexico and Arizona is true of our nation, which is now home to an estimated 10 million to 15 million aliens who have broken our laws and broken into our country. It is a mark of the cowardice of our leaders that they are so terrified of being called "bigots" they tolerate this criminality. The moral rot of political correctness runs deep today in both national parties." |

Joseph Farah of World Net Daily: "Impeach Bush" over illegal immigration http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=46062
Quote : | "Impeach Bush
Pat Buchanan, former communications director to President Ronald Reagan, former presidential candidate and WND commentator, has come to the conclusion that a courageous Republican legislator should move a bill for impeachment of President Bush.
I reluctantly agree – and for the same reasons.
President Bush has had nearly five years in office to honor his oath of office and enforce immigration laws in this country.
He has not only failed, he has intentionally neglected this sworn duty, instead claiming he prefers to promote a vague immigration "reform" plan that involved a "guest worker" program that has served as an encouragement to the most massive influx of illegal immigration this country has ever seen.
Some will tell me this can't be done and that it is irresponsible to propose it because Bush is a wartime president.
My response? It is precisely because this nation finds itself in a desperate war declared by a formidable foe determined to use our open borders to destroy this country that we must act now." |
Damn! When neo-conservative Farah and World Net Daily are calling for Bush's impeachment over illegal immigration, you know the problem has gotten REALLY BAD.9/1/2005 12:47:39 PM |

The reconquista movement has big corporate funding. In almost every case we’ve researched, rich white men are behind the neo-Aztec movement. One businessman in California bought almost 700 signs telling the public that Los Angeles is now Mexico. This is an attempt to create false pride by which people can be easily steered." |
Divide and conquer...creating fear and chaos...that is the MO of the chieftans of the new world order. Just as they funded and created the Nazis, the are funding this madness for their own purposes.
