^They're crumbling under the weight of the undue "world's best" title.

Rooney and Scholes will both be banned for three matches against Charlton, Watford and Tottenham. I hope this does not lead to chealse having a huge lead after four games.
8/15/2006 3:34:06 PM
they wont if this man has anything to say about it...http://tinyurl.com/nl8no
8/15/2006 5:09:32 PM
fucking great video
8/15/2006 9:01:26 PM
#2 is so fucking amazingI think its better than #1shit gives me goosebumps
8/15/2006 9:50:02 PM
yeah that's what I was thinking too, that's one of the best goals I think I've ever seen
8/15/2006 10:01:24 PM
fucking rediculous.they're just pickin on Roo now, makin an example of him.Scholes, I can deal with. Yeah, Scholes fucked up and went to ground for no good reason. But in either of their cases, a 3 game ban isn't warranted at all. That fucking Dutch ref just wanted to be a spoilsport and say "I got Rooney banned for three matches" so history doesn't forget him. It's wrong, wrong, wrong.[Edited on August 15, 2006 at 10:16 PM. Reason : and the FA has gone mad to punish them for a PRE SEASON OFFENSE]

Ole's in the squad for Norway tomorrow against Brazil. Talk about a strange rivalry albeit a friendly.Norway has never lost to Brazil.
8/15/2006 10:42:48 PM
Oh, that's nice. Dean Ashton is out for 4 months w/ a freaking broken ankle

Kanu to Pompey
8/16/2006 12:12:53 PM
Hargreaves to Man U rumours are flying about
8/16/2006 2:07:29 PM
not premier league, but not really thread-worthy otherwise around here - the greeks are bringing it to old trafford today for a friendly
8/16/2006 2:08:50 PM
8/16/2006 2:13:20 PM
I've got a feeling that with 2 weeks left, Hargreaves WILL be moving to Manchester. You can always expect posturing on the part of the holding team, it's so they can drive up the price.Hargreaves would be a much better signing than Senna, and everyone at Old Trafford knows that, so they're much more likely to shell out money for him.[Edited on August 16, 2006 at 2:41 PM. Reason : probably even better than Carrick]
8/16/2006 2:41:03 PM
england absolutely destroying greece at the half4-0 (terry, lampard, crouch 2)
8/16/2006 3:54:58 PM
was that Gerrard video made before the cup final against west ham. the goal he scored to tie it at 3 was sick and should be on there if it is not.
8/16/2006 6:10:14 PM
yea i believe it was because it said he was 25 on the video and he was 26 by the FA cupthe #1 goal gives me chills...i still am amazed of that 04-05 CL run[Edited on August 16, 2006 at 6:53 PM. Reason : .]

The SUN SWEARS that Hargreaves has already signed for ManU.All the other papers are reporting that Bayern's only valued him at 17 million.I will seriously do a dance of joy when they do sign him, especially after his play yesterday. The kid is a midfield monster, and it would allow them to play Carrick and Hargreaves together, push Scholes up into attack, a role he's much better suited for (I think), and it would benefit England to boot
8/17/2006 2:27:14 PM
true
8/17/2006 2:28:22 PM
Barca-Espanyol is on this afternoon on that link I posted previous page for those interested..also every Premier League game that is televised in England will be on there this weekend[Edited on August 17, 2006 at 2:36 PM. Reason : the more who log on the faster it streams!]

8/17/2006 3:57:31 PM
Eh, I don't understand the languages at all but it works for me.A lot of the games are in English too. I just checked the Barca game and there are English commentators.. I can't watch it since I"m at work though.

8/17/2006 6:11:57 PM
Oh yeah.Watford hahaha not after this year, I bet
8/17/2006 6:14:07 PM
Charlton is the only club south of the Thames correct? I saw home games at West Ham and at Fulham (what a dump comparatively)..The First Division (or whatever the hell they decide to call it this year) teams are Palace and Millwall?
8/17/2006 6:54:40 PM
disappointing start for liverpool, gerrard gets a bad penalty call in the box (was not a dive, however) and fowler nets the kick to secure a tie with sheffieldbolton v. spurs just starting

8/19/2006 7:35:23 PM
didnt see it but with a 3-2 score line it sounds like it was a good game.is the man u game on fsc tomorrow.
8/19/2006 10:55:49 PM
i dont know but the chelsea game is for sure
8/20/2006 1:22:13 AM
No, the Man U game is NOT on FSC tomorrow. It starts at 8:30, so your best bet is either that link NyM410 posted or to have the espn gametracker window open.and the Reading game was awesome, a come from behind win, they went down 2-0 and scored 2 to tie it up before the break and 1 in the second period to win it.[Edited on August 20, 2006 at 2:01 AM. 8/20/2006 2:00:40 AM
stupid poker being on.... i'd rather watch a match...
8/20/2006 3:53:10 AM
Sky (owned by Rupert Murdoch, who owns the Fox Empire and is why FSC gets to show the Premiership) got 4 out of 6 TV packages for the Premiership. The other 2 were bought by Setanta Sports. So it could be that the Man U game is on Setanta.
8/20/2006 9:03:52 AM
25 minutes in, Manchester United 4:0 Fulham.
