We want to be in the Park Slope/Prospect Heights areas of Brooklyn. We shall see if we can afford what we want. It might be Jersey City or Hoboken for us. I am glad you liked the photos, bb! ]

just be careful if you're checking out Jersey and Ken is working in NYC. you get double taxed (taxed in NJ and taxed in NYC) when you do that so it might end up costing about the same

Aren't you afraid your family will overpopulate the city?
7/26/2012 6:00:37 PM
^^^ hmmmm i didn't know about that, thanks. the interwebs say that you get a tax credit on your NJ taxes for the taxes you paid to NY though
7/31/2012 11:35:14 AM
yeah but have you checked out the tax rates in NJ and NYC? they're much higher than here. my dad worked in the city for 10 years and we lived in NJ and what prevented my parents from moving out the slum town we lived in for so long was the fact that they had to pay double taxes for so long so they couldnt save up as much as they wanted to.
