You'll get no argument from meI'll be pulling for themThe one thing I worry about is a team like San Antonio or Detroit slowing the game down so much that the Warriors can't get into a rhythm offensively. Also with only 8 guys playing, they can't afford any injuries or foul trouble vs the deeper teams like Phoenix or the Spurs.
5/4/2007 10:33:31 AM
Also Nelson had it out for Dallas...he really wanted to show up his former teamI don't think they'll have the same determination versus anyone else...also nobody is going to sleep on them like Dallas did...even if Dallas is a better team than HOU/UTAH, it doesnt mean the HOU/UTAH series is going to be easier
5/4/2007 10:36:20 AM
If they play Utah, Okur can try to replicate his shaved armpit no look block that he got on Matt Carroll
5/4/2007 10:39:03 AM
the Golden State Warriors have done that i never expected...they've made me interested in the NBA Playoffs...
5/4/2007 11:17:38 AM
they have no anser for yao or boozer
5/4/2007 1:06:58 PM
or dirk...
5/4/2007 1:12:41 PM
5/4/2007 2:06:23 PM
anybody watching this rockets-jazz game? glad utah is choking, houston is more fun
5/5/2007 11:50:40 PM
spoke too soon on that one, eh?
5/5/2007 11:55:03 PM
[Edited on May 5, 2007 at 11:58 PM. Reason : well they were up by 16]
5/5/2007 11:56:24 PM
lol, turnip loses.
5/6/2007 12:11:37 AM
if i'm tracy mcgradyand i have publicly declared that this series is on meand it could be a series defining momenti'm not feeding yao in a 4 ptdeciding gameat my housei am winning it for my teambut that is just if i'm tracy mcgrady
5/6/2007 12:20:32 AM
oh well, go warriors
5/6/2007 12:39:55 AM
t mac's press conference =
5/6/2007 2:22:16 AM
Yao plays too soft. He doesn't consistently take the ball up strong, so you can never count on him.
5/6/2007 2:25:59 AM
i think yao hit the floor on 10 consecutive possessions in the 4th
5/6/2007 2:33:18 AM
^lol, I think you are right.I was sitting there, thinking to myself...."Why in the fuck does he keep falling? There is no foul, and he isnt landing on anyone." It was an automatic 5 on 4 everytime down the court.Yao is soft like lo mein.
5/6/2007 9:48:32 AM
Jerry Sloan shows once again how he is the most underrated coach in the NBA.This guy takes teams every year with nobodies it seems and turns them into a winner. No one wanted Matt Harpring or Mehmet Okur, and people thought Deron Williams over Felton was a bad pick.
5/6/2007 10:01:36 AM
I agree Sloan is a great coach, but no one wanted Okur? He was a prized free agent that got a $50 million deal.Deron Williams has turned out to be better than Chris Paul.
5/6/2007 11:48:05 AM
Pavlovic blocking Kidd's layup from behind was NASTY.
5/6/2007 3:22:13 PM
I HATE THIS FUCKING CAMERA ANGLE
5/6/2007 3:37:15 PM
I think they may have it fixed now...they were having a lot of technical issues at the beginning, including no sound from the announcers
5/6/2007 3:41:04 PM
geez nash, just bleed over everyone
5/6/2007 6:05:14 PM
that looks like he'll need stiches (sp?)
5/6/2007 6:11:23 PM
I love how they just keep wiping it dry until it gets bloody 30 seconds later. Ha its already bleeding again.Isn't he supposed to change jerseys too (he has blood on his jersey, and keeps using it to wipe off).
5/6/2007 6:13:37 PM
they should just wrap the bandage all the way around the back of his head then blood wont come trhough.
5/6/2007 6:13:39 PM
it looked like he did change jerseys once...PUT SOME SUPER GLUE ON IT
5/6/2007 6:15:12 PM
That will need stitches, but butterflying it in about 3 places could at least let him finish the game. I'm surprised they just keep applying bandaids.
5/6/2007 6:15:24 PM
I'm surprised basketball teams don't employ boxing cutmen. That's nothing compared to the bleeding I've seen in some boxing matches, and those guys can stop that in like 90 seconds. Maybe it's not "medically-sound" but ...
5/6/2007 6:18:54 PM
aaaand the refs decide to give themselves control over the win.
5/6/2007 6:20:57 PM
flop...what the soccer haters refuse to recognize as being present in basketball
5/6/2007 6:21:00 PM
To be fair, that location on your nose is one of the hardest places to stop bleeding. There was contact, but he definitely sold it with a flop.Stoudemire just blew the layup.
5/6/2007 6:22:32 PM
was diaw serious just then
5/6/2007 6:24:50 PM
parker has a nice goose egg on his head
5/6/2007 6:27:09 PM
and the Spurs draw first blood
5/6/2007 6:35:36 PM
sucks that such a good game was decided by a bogus off the ball foul on parker
5/6/2007 9:27:22 PM
Tonight's GamesBulls v. Pistons - Game 2 - TNT 8:00 PMWarriors v. Jazz - Game 1 - TNT 10:30 PM
5/7/2007 11:09:43 AM
was i the only one laughing hysterically for like 2-3 minutes straight at how incompetent phoenix's medical staff was? is that the best way to stop the bleeding from a couple deep gashes? to just a layer upon layer upon layer some little tiny bandages? he shouldve gotten a delay of game for running out on the court too...course i dont know why as soon as the blood started gushing they didnt run him back to the lockerroom
5/7/2007 5:12:56 PM
Hope the Bulls can actually make this a good series.I was thinking Detroit-Chicago would've made a better eastern final than semifinal, but not unless the Bulls can step it up.
5/7/2007 5:15:27 PM
playoff experience takes time to get...i'm officially changing my NBA Finals predictions to Pistons vs Spurs...partially because the Mavs are already out of it but also because those two teams are the best TEAMS and they know how to turn it up a notch in the post season
5/7/2007 5:18:38 PM
Nash was faking it. What a panzy. He needs to man up, throw some salt on his wound and get back in the game. Thanks for letting your team down NASH
5/7/2007 5:19:56 PM
its just funny...we had been talking all day about the de la hoya mayweather fight and it was pretty obvious that the phoenix trainers did not usually have to deal with big gash cuts like nash had...i literally was laughing as hard as i had in months at how futile they were "trying" to get the cuts to stop bleeding...classic humor
5/7/2007 5:24:38 PM
^^ what? I guess that is sarcasm. This Suns-Spurs series is going to be great [Edited on May 7, 2007 at 5:26 PM. Reason : ^]
5/7/2007 5:26:04 PM
5/7/2007 5:28:41 PM
yea...pistons/spurs...most likelyand also most boring
5/7/2007 6:52:23 PM
yeah, remember last time? that wasn't very fun... I'd love to see suns/cavs, or suns/bulls but that'll never happen.
5/7/2007 8:47:53 PM
Wasn't fun? I thought that was an awesome series. Still remember that Horry shot at the end of game 5.
5/7/2007 8:49:06 PM
i think Utah takes game 1 tonight... warriors have had a long layoff and Utah is a tough place to play.Kirilenko is the key to this series, he's gotta be all over the place.
5/7/2007 10:25:24 PM
The Suns might actually have a chance against the Spurs if Nash would take off his diapers and actually play some defense on Parker.
5/7/2007 10:28:57 PM
COaching/Amare is the problem there dude.....amare needs to show on the pick. Dantoni has them going under the screen and letting parker shoot. That has little to do with Nash's effort.
