how the hell can they afford those two?even if they only pay what corinthians paid for them then that comes close to 30 mil.
8/31/2006 12:44:19 PM
I like the Newcastle-Rossi move for both sides.... was he really going to get alot of playing time behind Rooney, Saha, Ole? And Newcastle has had the worst luck with strikers, I hope it works out for them

Real Madrid have agreed a deal with Arsenal to take Spain forward Jose Antonio Reyes on loan for one season in exchange for Brazil's Julio Baptista.http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=377666&cc=5901

^ niiice.. now I'd like to see Clint Dempsey in the EPL
8/31/2006 9:46:44 PM
I heard Benfica was sniffing around Eddie Johnson a while back....... but AEG didn't want to sell him. I dont know how they expect US players to get better if they don't let them go overseas.oh, and as far as the Tevez/Mascherano to West Ham deal, their contracts are owned by a British group that is partners with Corinthians, and who launched a bid to buy West Ham last year. That group probably owns some shares of West Ham, and the transfer fee was likely very very low, which is why it will remain undisclosed. Like a kind of trade, I guess. Or a better way to put it would be a transfer from one office to another while still working for the same company.[Edited on August 31, 2006 at 10:46 PM. Reason : cxcv]

^after reading some stuff about the the west ham situation, it seems alittle sketchy to me.
9/1/2006 3:18:29 PM
Well, I'm happy... they probably aren't going to play until the UEFA Cup match, though I'd like to see them against Villa..http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/w/west_ham_utd/5305724.stmof course they'll be sold to one of the 'big' clubs within a few years[Edited on September 1, 2006 at 3:28 PM. is the united vs spurs match on fsc saturday
9/7/2006 10:12:12 AM
That is a great article by simmons. I'm personally not for Totty and would love to see Newcastle get back on form. I think the latest transfer will help.Anyone see the England match yesterday? 1-0 over Macedonia. Crouch had a killer goal, but Macedonia played well and the first half and the end were a bit scary for the boys. I hope they can come out strong in October.
9/7/2006 12:04:23 PM
england is weak, 13-0 germany, macedonia cant be that much more awesome than san marino
9/7/2006 12:39:33 PM
Ha...well played....but that said i was a bit suprised with Macedonia, though the English had a huge ego going into this game and horrid preparation. The Germany record was impressive. 13-0 cannot be topped so I can't say much to that. Podolski and Klose always seem to impress.
9/7/2006 12:49:22 PM
I wish the Merseyside derby was on FSC this weekend... yeah, the ManYoo-Spurs game is on FSC

9/9/2006 12:14:55 PM
I'm almost giddy to see the Villa-West Ham game tomorrow.. even though Tevez probably won't start and likely not even play.**if you want to watch games (ones not on american tv) just goto that link.. it's really easy despite some programs being in wierd languages. I'm a computer moron and I figured it out. Plus nearly all Uefa Cup games are on and ALL Champions League games are on. 9/9/2006 12:29:29 PM
Pompey's still on a roll yo
9/9/2006 4:16:43 PM
Villa-West Ham just tied 1-1. I thought it was a really entertaining game... there were alot of chances and a couple of great defensive plays. Tevez played like 20-25 minutes and he had a couple of good plays but you could tell he's not really fit yet.

9/30/2006 11:58:53 AM
good, chelski blows
9/30/2006 12:50:36 PM
United dominates the Magpies, reclaims the top of the EPL off of a babyfaced assassin brace
10/1/2006 12:57:22 PM
united still on top with a 3-1 win over wigan
10/15/2006 9:09:34 PM
In other news, Hilario will be starting in goal for Chelski against Barca because both Cech and Cudicini were injured in the Reading game, and Juan Pablo Angel had a great second half for Villa, missing a penalty and scoring an own goal in the span of three minutes.
10/15/2006 9:57:38 PM
Did anybody else watch that Reading game? I didn't think the challenge on Cech was as bad as The Greaaat One said it was, but then again, I may be biased because I rarely agree with him.. what do yall think? It looked like to me he was just going for the ball, and as Coppell said, it was early in the game for somebody who was excited to play and make an impression
10/15/2006 10:48:57 PM
just booked two tickets for the Charlton vs. Watford match on Saturday.the two teams may suck, but at least I can wear Red and still fit in.
