Dumbest part of the entire thing is the weekly rankings show. Committee starts it too early. Because it’s all made for tv and to drive ratings and interest. But the committee pigeon holes themselves into certain decisions based on previous weeks rankings. No need for the weekly reveals.

I don’t think it’s dumb that a team that lost to UConn and had 5 losses didn’t make the playoff.

I could see ND over Bama because losing to fsu is inexcusable. ND’s argument is they have no bad losses and even their 2 losses are to playoff teams and very close margins. But they have like 1 good win. Maybe 1.5 if we count Pitt. I would have no problem with ND over Bama but I don’t think it’s a travesty that ND didn’t make it.
