Put off an oil change on one and PS cooler on another because my dad's boat has been in my garage for a week or so swapping the axle and springs. Now that the garage is cleaned up and tools put away for the first time in many months, time to make a mess and have PS fluid go everywhere.

Well after almost 4 months the Mach is back on the road. The replacement motor came with American Racing headers and an upgraded throttle body. I had a BBK catless xpipe custom fitted by an exhaust guy into SLP Loud Mouth mufflers. Running a Bama Tune until I have the funds to have 4.10s and a dyno tune done by Fastlane.

It honeslty might be too loud but so far no complaints. Feels awesome to have her back on the road though.

^awesome! 4 months isn't bad.

Mine just started knocking yesterday and it's pretty bad sounding. Probably going to park it til I get a engine ready to go in

Replaced it with a different one.
Outgoing--'97 Crown Vic. Just as soon as I fix the 17 things (not really but a lot) that caused it to fail inspection.
Incoming--'13 Fusion SE. It's blue. With a tan interior. And....yup. No options whatsoever, though the base equipment on the SE isn't exactly poverty-spec. But it's reliable, got a relatively good deal on it, and only 36K miles.

Being responsible is no fun sometimes.

I took my brake pads off and threw them upside down on the sidewalk and fucked up all the kid's chalk drawings. Then I put them back on. Tomorrow heading out of town with a heavy trailer, coming back with a heavy truck on it.

not a permanent home. Renting it out for a few years before buying/building my own home. Vette will still see some nice days here and there. There will be some more track days to come later this year as well. The turdcel and eg hatch are just a hoot to drive in town that I don't think twice about the vette honestly. until I move out from this house though, the ramps are the only plan I have to get the vette in and out. it's not as bad as it seems. Maybe 5 minutes setup and cleanup.. FWIW, location and price made this house a no brainer move in...

^ I might be going to ToTD with a buddy in our vettes later this year to view the eclipse in August. The best viewing is actually near Bowling Green, KY. That'd be awesome to go see the Vette Museum while there, but being the eclipse is on a Monday and Bowling Green is a helluva drive for a 2 day trip (not that worthy to use 16 hours vacation time from work), I may just hit up the Dragon that weekend instead and burn 8 hours of time... maybe.

Plan to tune the ECU/TCU install a K40 radar (most likley), black out all chrome (grill, badges, door handles, etc.), strip and re-tint all windows and windshield and then call it a day.

man, it's either OEM or NoEM for me. I'll pick-n-pull used OEM from LKQ or clist before I ever go buy some knock off shit anymore.

Learned my lesson(s).

You haven't been to LKQ? They have a flat rate for everything. Doesn't matter if it's from a 1992 Ford Escort of a 2007 BMW 525i

Part $Price $Core $Warranty $Extended Warranty
Tail Light Assy (large) $31.03 $0.00 $0.00 $9.31
Tail Light Assy (medium) $20.88 $0.00 $0.00 $6.26
Tail Light Circuit Board $15.73 $0.00 $0.00 $4.72

So you wouldn't spend $$$Hundreds$$$ at LKQ. I mean, you've got to live near by one though, which I don't think you do... $3 entry free now days, and they do 40% off days like 3 or 4 times a year which helps... Some things are worth it. Some things aren't. Great if you are handy and able to retrofit...

We have Cape Fear pick-n-pull, which is ok. I've been able to get a few random things there. Headlights and tail lights are one of the first things to go. I either get used OEM on ebay or silicone up the knock-offs.

BobbyDigital, the 4Runner looks great with the new tires and wheels.

nothing fancy here. Replaced my tensioner pulley assembly and 3 idler pulleys as well as a new belt. I forgot how quiet the F150 ran before those pulleys started to wear.

I think i'm going to remove the running boards this weekend to change the look up a little bit. These KR boards on this generation F150 just aren't aging well and it's starting to give me that "old man truck" vibe.

Later this summer I plan to replace all of my shocks with Bilstein 5100's which will level up the front end and hopefully improve the ride.

Wrung out my Golf TDI on hwy 209 aka "the rattler" on the way from the BMW show in Hot Springs to visit my friend in Cherokee. The pavement was super fresh and there were hardly any other cars (despite all the BMW enthusiasts in town)
