stuff like that never seems to end well. also, on my way westward across the country, i stayed in semi decent motels. holiday inn express, la quinta, embassy, only stayed in one cheapo place, in new mexico.

on the way home, however, i was out of control!!!1 and broke as fuck and working off a credit card that was borrowed and i didnt wanna run up. so i stayed at motel 6 literally every night once i started moving eastward again. i think 4 or 5 in a row

and they were terrible. like keep your shoes on kind of deal. i always wonder why young and clean looking people are at places like that. but i hope she is ok, bunch of crazy assholes out there

dude, on my drive from FL to WA, i alternated nights between sleeping in the truck with my .45 by my side (either in the parking lot of a truck stop, a strip mall, or a gas station) and sleeping in the cheapest motels I could find (like $25-30/night variety)...again with my .45 on the nightstand. I wasn't doing anything there except sleeping for a few hours and showering/shaving/brushing teeth, so i wasn't about to spend any more money than i had to...and i make like $60-65k/year (not a ton, but enough that i wouldn't HAVE to do what i did).
