I modified a really old web cam to make a macro cam - i cracked the case open, and loosened the lens to make the web cam, for lack of a better term, incredibly nearsighted.

I'm impressed as hell that you got those pictures out of a webcam. I've always had webcams will really crappy pixelation due to a really crappy signal to noise ratio.

the lamp shade and bulb(floro) are causing it. i intend on using diff lamp shades, and bulbs to get diff effects over the next few days.
