I don't know if this will actually work or not, but it looks like you can submit a claim to have all the money paid for Airborne from 2001 until 2007 to be refunded. If you have proof of purchases you can get full refunds for everything, but if not you can still submit a claim that you bought 6 packs of the $10.50 Seasonal Airborne. did this like 2 days ago.or yesterday. but i didnt put the full $63. my family actually did buy airborne, i know ive see at least 3 packs around the house in the past few years.so i just put 3 packs of $10.50 and a $6 pack
3/6/2008 12:55:18 PM
I've easily spend way more than $63 on the stuff over the years. I don't feel bad at all fibbing to get the maximum amount back.
3/6/2008 12:59:43 PM
i hear that.there is an option to click for not having a receipt.
3/6/2008 1:01:27 PM
Yeah, you just fill out the form and then say you don't have one at the end. I don't know what they would do if you put more than 6 items though.
3/6/2008 1:04:54 PM
what is this stuff?
3/6/2008 1:11:53 PM
i really want to be dishonest and get some free money...but i won't...i've never used the stuff
3/6/2008 1:19:32 PM
My girlfriend tried to make me take that stuff once, man it tasted horrible. She still swears by it though. I'm definitely emailing this to her haha

Nasty shit. When is this supposed to actually pay out?Er, seems there is a final settlement hearing in june. I guess after that.[Edited on March 6, 2008 at 1:52 PM. Reason : aa]

this ranks right up there with the fucker suing mcdonalds for hot coffee. are companies going to have to clarify everything for these dumb fucks?
3/6/2008 2:04:53 PM
^ uh...not quite the same thing
3/6/2008 2:20:26 PM
I'm pretty sure McDonalds didn't make illegitimate claims about their coffee. No one went around saying "this coffee surely wont burn you."
3/6/2008 2:22:26 PM
so its not even remotely effective? is that why they have to pay out? whats happening?
3/6/2008 2:31:03 PM
they claimed it would "cure" or "prevent" colds, and/or that it would make you immune to colds as early as 1 hour after you take it...it's really just a compound of vitamins, i thinki suspect it works in the same way zinc/vitC/echinacea lozenges work...maybe if you take it in time, it bolsters your immune system, but that's it[Edited on March 6, 2008 at 2:32 PM. 3/6/2008 2:32:04 PM
Yeah, I almost feel bad about claiming the money. Cause I used to get sick twice a year at a minimum and I haven't been sick in the past 2+ years cause I take the stuff every day(during cold season at least). But then again when I think that I've been paying $7 for a 10 pack of vitamins that dissolve in water, I don't feel too bad about getting part of my money back.]
3/6/2008 2:38:23 PM
rocks i tell, some of you are just like them [Edited on March 6, 2008 at 3:04 PM. Reason : s]
3/6/2008 3:04:17 PM
You know, I've filled out settlements like this before and I've never received a penny from any of them
3/6/2008 3:07:15 PM
i've taken the airborne things a few times. i've the correlation that when i do just as i'm starting to feel sick that i haven't gotten sick. i don't know if that means they've actually worked, probably not, but still when i'm starting to feel sick i like feeling like there is something i can do about it... even if its only the placebo effect. so for whats it worth, i wont be asking for my money back.
3/6/2008 3:18:36 PM
Do you think that the settlement is for a certain amount of money, and there will be a good number of people that apply? If this happens wont they just split the money up, so everyone gets a small amount like less than a dollar?
3/6/2008 3:35:17 PM
I enjoy the taste of a nice airborne lemon-lime flavored beverage.
3/6/2008 3:45:47 PM
what stores sold this stuff again?
3/6/2008 4:38:25 PM
^almost any where.I remember in 2005 I was dating this chick and she tried to convince me to get some of that stuff. When i asked her why on earth she thought it would work her response was that it had to because "it was designed by a teacher." comments like that are a solid part of the reason why we're not together any more.
3/6/2008 4:43:58 PM
if some bitch tried to get me to take that i'd be like if its not orange juice i dont want it
3/6/2008 4:44:28 PM
3/6/2008 4:51:29 PM

3/6/2008 5:02:38 PM
3/6/2008 5:10:26 PM
oh okmeh, doesnt have FDA approval...that shouldve been warning number 1warning #2 is where teh packaging says "not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease."but oh well
3/6/2008 5:12:52 PM
^thats what ive been wondering also.it also mentions its made from herbal stuff, what is the lawsuit against? because to me it looks as if airborne has some outs. but i guess not.i thought disclaimers were valid
3/6/2008 5:22:31 PM
I'm still impressed you can possibly get $60 instead of $5 after the lawyer got their cut.
3/6/2008 5:54:29 PM

Get rich or catch a cold tryin!
5/9/2008 4:22:35 AM
i got mine. i'm rich! it was like $40. my ex gf had bought some of that stuff. wonder if she made a claim too, haha.
5/9/2008 4:47:38 AM
^^^ heh honestly I don't remember but I think basically what they were saying is more testing needs to be done on the stuff before we label it fit for human consumption.
5/9/2008 5:07:13 AM
i had better get mine... i definitely bought that shit, but if they deny it because i chose the wrong specific product (like i'm supposed to remember that) I'm going to be pissed. I'M ENTITLED TO THAT MONEY.
5/9/2008 5:41:21 AM
I started to buy some one time. As soon as I saw that it was "Created by a School Teacher" I knew there was nothing to it.
5/9/2008 6:54:12 AM
