She's always been a good friend to me. Even when I didn't know her very well, she was a good friend. Once, I was in really bad shape...really depressed...and I was going to commit suicide. This happened after my ex girlfriend had a miscarriage, and we were both pretty torn up about it. I honestly had a fist full of pills in one hand, and a fifth of rum in the other.

Sam called me, eventually ended up coming over to my apartment, calmed me down, and persuaded me to go get help. I can't thank her enough.
