Brilliant tactics by SAF for this coming weekend. He knows you have to go with their best and sliding Howard Webb over to the stadium formerly known as St James' Park (wtf is called now) may just tip the balance back to United.

^^ Sports Direct Arena, Mike Ashley's company. They're using it as an example for any potential naming sponsors. It's probably to get all the initial criticism directly before a new sponsor actually pays for it.

That was incredible, one of the best of the season. If Newcastle can manage to keep most of their team together this summer, they will be a major threat for UCL next year (if they don't already make it in this year).

Great end of the season, it's all coming down to the wire for the title, UCL spots, and relegation.

I can't remember ever seeing Cech hung out like that. He was in perfect position to stop that and got nowhere near it.

Neither Ameobi nor Cisse himself thought that was in. I love their reaction after they see it land in the net.

Cisse "Well, would you look at that. Lalalala. To the corner flag to celebrate. Doo doo do doo."

Ameobi "Trackin' back, trackin' back. I love trackin' baa... HEY YA!"

All kidding about Webb aside i can't see City dropping 3 at Newcastle so you have to think if Arsenal wins, as they should, against Norwich they should be safe in fourth; but I don't see Spurs dropping any more points even though away to Villa is never easy. So to feel safe for auto-CL they really need to take all six..

yeah, you're right. It would be hilarious if Arsenal lost their last two and didn't get shit though.

I'd really like to see Newcastle in CL but I'd much rather see United lose the title. It would be nice if Newcastle beat City and then United lost to Swansea...

^^ or this one....

New Chelsea stadium?

If they pulled this off, it would be the coolest stadium in history.

Yeah, but it was actually used as a power station. Using it as an entertainment venue for one of the most high profile clubs in the country is a slightly different story.

I know aimorris gets it, but do the rest of you realize that this, at most, is going to be like the warehouse at Camden Yards? I only ask, because ^ that post makes no sense.

Chelsea is grandiose as long as they have Russian backing. Done the way I think Chelsea will do it, this stadium will be by far the coolest in England, which is full of shitty, boring stadiums.

Walcott injured.

He was actually a pretty consensus good signing. He was great with Lille last year.

Should have been a penalty on Arsenal.

Should be 3-1 Norwich. Ref missed a clear pk there.

This arsenal team is just terrible outside of RVP. It's a huge accomplishment if they make UCL

On norwich's second goal you can see the midfielders not even trying to get back. Diaby for Ramsey please.

They were fine when Arteta and in-form Walcott were healthy. You're looking at a team without their best winger and their two best midfielders right now.

Wilshere was arguably their best player down the stretch last year. Hell, in the first leg vs Barca he may have been the best player on the field for that 90 minutes, which is saying something. People forget that.
