Hudson, Hanson, Medlen, Sheets, Maholm, Minor

I'd have to say Minor right now even though hes lowered his ERA from 6.20 - 4.93 over the past month or so. I know Medlen is great for that long relief role, I just think hes pitching too damn well as a starter.

^ Most likely it'll be Medlen since Minor gives them a 2nd lefty. If Hanson struggles coming off the DL, it would create an interesting argument. When Medlen starts, the Braves win. It is as simple as that so it makes no sense to take him out of the rotation at all.

Very critical stretch of 9 games starts tonight with the LAD. I think we'll miss Kershaw this series so that is a big relief. Please to play well this weekend Mets. Fuck the Nats.

Braves offense was MIA this weekend. Not a good sign going into the critical 3 game set in Washington. I guess the main solace the Braves can find in going on the road is that the Nats and Braves are the two best road teams in baseball and the Nats are actually better on the road than at home.

5 games out, really need to pull off a sweep, but we know that isn't happening especially since today is fucking Monday. Zimmerman, the NL ERA leader is pitching tonight against Hudson.

Well that wasn't fun while it lasted. Let's see if the Braves can hang onto a wild card spot. Roller coaster team is back in a valley again. Maybe they can get a win tonight before heading to SF for four more. What a shitty road trip - Washington - San Fran - San Diego with no off days.

Oh well if they blow this playoff run as well, at least we won't have to watch them lose in the worst conceived idea ever in that one game wild card "series".

Medlen worked out of some big jams last night and Prado got the big hit. Braves offense is still garbage, but at least they got one win to feel better about themselves heading to SF. Braves won't have to face Cain either so that is a break.

Schedule gets A LOT easier once they finish this four game set in SF. Not another team over .500 the rest of the way except for the Nats which is one 3 game series. A lot of Mets, Marlins, and Phillies with the Padres, Brewers, and Rockies in the mix. Washington still has 6 games with the Cards and 3 against the LAD so the Braves could close the gap and maybe pull a miracle to win the East.

Yeah you took my comment completely out of context. I said the offense was garbage and I was mainly referring to the past couple weeks. The Braves are obviously not a garbage team, but they play like one against good teams. It would be nice to actually win more than 2 or 3 games in this brutal 10 game stretch between the LAD, Nats, SF. Right now the Braves are 2-5.
