I am not going to watch that video bc I think I have seen it before. It kind of makes my stomach hurt to watch her flip that baby around.
3/7/2012 12:32:30 PM
woman should be arrested for child abuse.
3/7/2012 12:34:20 PM
What am I missing here?
3/7/2012 12:36:04 PM
When the baby is screaming and crying, that means it's having fun.

You'll hear nothing but complaints until you see these kids doing insane twisty backflips on the neighborhood trampoline and making all the other kids look like a bunch of saps.
3/7/2012 12:59:45 PM
holy shit weaponized infants
3/7/2012 1:02:32 PM
husband tried to explain to her why this yoga baby thing may not be a good idea
3/7/2012 1:02:53 PM
and people got pissed off when michael jackson held his kid off a balcony.

3/7/2012 1:08:47 PM
I'm surprised this took so long to reach tww
3/7/2012 1:09:26 PM
this is just glorified baby shaking and I wonder how many times she's been peed/pooed on doing all that twirling with naked babies
3/7/2012 1:46:09 PM
now i could totally believe that an older baby may enjoy something like this. something perhaps not as extreme. my eight month old is at an age where she enjoys being tossed up and caught by dad, swinging at the playground, bounced on the bed, etc. but a two week old baby? there is a reason some call that the '4th trimester' - they may as well still be a fetus at that age.
3/7/2012 2:04:05 PM
^^^I saw it mentioned in the "TWW Parents: simple Q&A/info sharing thread" thread googled it and was so horrified I had to make its own thread
3/7/2012 2:06:16 PM
Yes. I mentioned it. This shit makes my stomach hurt and pisses me off. Crazy Russian...

This is basically contact juggling an infant. David Bowie would be great at this.
3/7/2012 11:40:48 PM
I wonder how many kids this trick has dropped.
3/7/2012 11:43:45 PM
3/8/2012 7:38:38 AM
^^Kind of what I was thinking. All it takes is one baby dropped on their head. Let's see how much sooner it walks before the other kids then.
3/8/2012 7:52:41 AM
That poor baby was crying Also, I don't think babies would enjoy being repeatedly submerged in water.
3/8/2012 8:18:11 AM
Babies are submerged in water for a long time before they discover they really don't enjoy breathing air. The discomfort passes quickly.I don't understand comparing this to shaken baby syndrome at all. I have no problem with this old woman training her kid to be a circus performer, but when she picked up that other womans kid it gets a little weird. As far as if the babies are scared or not, their worlds are full of new sensations and experiences. This is probably no more shocking to them than bathtime.
3/8/2012 8:51:01 AM
I don't understand how you don't understand. It may not be as violent as SBS, but it's similar.
3/8/2012 11:01:48 AM
^What's SBS?
3/8/2012 1:49:00 PM
shaken baby syndrome
3/8/2012 2:22:14 PM
Oh similarities are fun. Grabbing a baby under the arms and making them "dance", tossing them up and catching them, bouncing on the bed, etc are also similar. And fun.< not a babby yoga advocate by any means

3/8/2012 6:51:22 PM

3/8/2012 6:57:21 PM

3/8/2012 7:13:05 PM
reminds me of an old Mad TV skit where the mother is slathering her kids with baby oil and bacon grease at the pool to help them tan
