Delicious Homemade Cherry Cobbler! NOM NOM NOMFilling:~1 3/4 - 2lb pitted sweet cherries1 cup sugar2 tbspn flour1 tsp kirsch liquordash cinnamon1tsp vanilla1/2 tsp lemon juice1 tsp OJ (optional)Topping:3/4 cup flour3/4 cup brown sugar3/4 cup oatmeal7 TBSPN butter, cut into small pieces (NOT MELTED)1/8 tsp salt1/3 cup sliced almondsPit the cherries if you haven't done so (pitter is like 8 bucks at BB&B or you can do by hand which takes a lot longer)add sugar, flour, kirsch liquor, cinnamon, vanilla, lemon juice, and OJ and stir it up. Set asideFor the topping, mix flour, brown sugar, oatmeal, salt, and almonds in bowl. Add butter and mix with a pastry blender or fork if you don't have one. Should end up looking like thisI like to add a little bit of the topping into the filling, but its not necessary.Preheat oven to 375, place filling in greased cooking dish ~11x7 add topping evenlyBake in oven 45minutesEnjoy!
