One time I was at some fast food place, dunno if it was McDonald's, and I sat at the menu for a good 60 seconds and nobody said anything...I was like "hello? hello?" etc, so I drove up to the 1st window, nobody there, drove up to the 2nd window, and got somebody's attention...they took my order, and walked my money to the register, and walked my change back, cause they were slackin on the menu/cool story

Yeah, I did the same thing one time. Must have been a shift change or something. I got no response from the speaker for a few minutes, so I drove around and tapped on the window. "Hi, I think your intercom is broken." They looked at me like I was trying to rob them. They all just stood around looking at each other wondering what to do until the manager came over and took my order. It was surprising how such a little change in protocol could completely throw them for a loop.Actually, it shouldn't be surprising. I can totally understand this situation escalating with a manager that's a dumbass and a customer that won't take no for an answer.[Edited on June 24, 2012 at 3:54 PM. Reason : .]

I did that once but I was baked and they were closed, I stopped at the speaker, 1st window, and 2nd window for a few minutes each before figuring out they were not open.
