Last night I'm awoken at 4am. Seems like I have some water in my right ear. It is pretty annoying and keeps bobbling around. I try to use my fingers to scratch it, then I do the 'ol shake head in direction of water trick. Nothing works. I head to the bathroom. Use a q-tip to relieve the pressure build up in the ear, no luck. That is, no luck until I put some rubbing alcohol on the q-tip. I now insert it into my ear. a cooling sensation, this will surely take care of it. after the q-tip fills the ear with the alcohol i feel a scrambling in my ear. I shake my head to the floor. A fucking cockroach falls out of my ear. One of the female variety. Nothing but the alcohol scared it up. It tries to scamper away. I deal with her appropriately.Q the following:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=faFuaYA-daw[Edited on July 18, 2012 at 1:25 PM. Reason : /]

My buddy had a moth land on and then crawl into his ear. Went to the ER because nothing he tried worked (don't think he tried alcohol but I will remember that)All of this gives me the heebie-jeebies. I tried to watch the vid of the doc getting the roach out but had to stop after it ran back in. WTF fuck fuck fuck fuck

my fiance had a roach in his ear once. His brother had to hold him down and take it out with tweezers (after many failed attempts at luring it out, drowning it, etc)it was there for almost 2 hours, he said it was the most painful thing in his life, and he still thinks about the scratching. He said it felt like it was digging into his brain. it is not a myth, but pretty shitty luck.

Oh, I'm sorry Mulva...I didn't mean to insult your intelligence. . .

running alcohol

this shit is weird.1) i came home today and out of nowhere, there was an infestation of these huge flying ants in the house, about an inch long. there were dozens of them. took me more than an hour to end the infestation.2) then i saw this thread about a roach in the ear.3) later i watched CASE 39 and in one of the scenes there were hornets coming out of a dude's ears, nose, and mouth.all in the span of a few hours.4) AND THERE IS A THREAD NOW ABOUT KILLING HORNETS.[Edited on July 18, 2012 at 11:28 PM. ^those are just lost alates (reproductive ants)this time of year is when they swarm looking for a new nest site. When they are swarming there are so many of them that if it is near your house and you open a door you could easily have a dozen new guests.but they won't hurt you.

popthatzit.com in addition to being the greatest place on earth to see the most wonderful things having to do with cysts and puss...is also full of awesomeness like bugs getting taken out of ears.... true work of art

Got Hygiene? It musta thought your head was a Roach Motel.
7/20/2012 7:40:41 AM
um no, roaches cannot go backwards. This means they get stuck in tunnels with no end or no room to turn around.
