He wanted to be ready if someone came into the theater shooting.
8/7/2012 3:13:10 PM
I understand why he brought themhave you seen what they're charging for ammo at theaters these days?
8/7/2012 3:13:16 PM
does this mean it's going to be harder to sneak in soda and candy?
8/7/2012 3:15:04 PM
8/7/2012 3:15:10 PM
sounds like he wanted to get caught
8/7/2012 3:16:44 PM
so this is where wdprice3 ran off to?
8/7/2012 3:17:39 PM
if the undercover cop had concealed carry permit, he could have stopped this guy from getting into the theater.
8/7/2012 3:19:04 PM
If he didn't have that gun the king of England could just walk in there any time he wants and start shoving you around.[Edited on August 7, 2012 at 3:27 PM. Reason : s]

He just wanted some pop corn.
8/7/2012 8:46:29 PM
It is hard to sneak in candy. I had my bag checked last week at the theaters.i laughed at the guy then remembered the reasoning and felt like an ass.
8/7/2012 10:53:42 PM
Did he break the law?I'm not sure I see any laws broken, unless carrying concealed due to the price of admission is similar to NC's law.
8/7/2012 10:56:49 PM
CC is illegal at ticketed events in NC, btw.
8/7/2012 10:59:57 PM
thats why I said...unless it's similar to NC's law.
8/7/2012 11:12:46 PM
ComputerGuy, I don't think you realize that in NC, it is illegal to CC at ticketed events.
8/7/2012 11:15:19 PM
Can you open-carry to ticketed events? What if the tickets are free?
8/7/2012 11:16:25 PM
I can't find any Ohio law making it illegal to CC in places that charge admission. But this theater was posted, and the guy didn't have a license to CC anyway.^ I think carrying of any kind is against the law... But the wording that is used refers to "charging admission" so free tickets may not fall into that category[Edited on August 7, 2012 at 11:34 PM. Reason : IANAL]

How fucking proud is that security guard today? Kudos to that guy.
8/7/2012 11:24:05 PM
I heard that if you buy a ticket to something, you can't hide a gun anywhere on you and enter the event. Not in a holster, not in your belt, not in your ass, nothing.
8/7/2012 11:35:43 PM
I heard it could be in your ass, but only if you swallowed it, not if you shoved it up your pooper.
