Anthony Bourdain or the mythbusters guys
9/7/2012 7:47:28 AM
definitely Bourdain.
9/7/2012 7:49:52 AM

9/7/2012 7:50:11 AM
Bourdain easy.
9/7/2012 7:55:20 AM
Bourdain
9/7/2012 7:58:28 AM
This isn't even a contest...Bourdain.
9/7/2012 8:01:18 AM
Hmm, I figured some of the science people would choose unlimited access to explosives
9/7/2012 8:17:53 AM
mythbusters guys still fly coach. I doubt Bourdain has seen a coach cabin in years.
9/7/2012 8:19:37 AM
what hot chick works for this bourdain guy?
9/7/2012 8:23:08 AM
9/7/2012 8:25:11 AM
9/7/2012 8:27:16 AM
hoes in different codes, yo.according to celebrity net worth, Bourdain is worth 6 mil, while Jamie and Adam are both worth 8 a piece.Merchandising is where it's at.
9/7/2012 8:29:02 AM
9/7/2012 8:29:44 AM
fair enough. I've never heard of the guy, so I was just asking.
9/7/2012 8:31:02 AM

9/7/2012 8:38:29 AM
I'm an Avec Eric fan myself.
9/7/2012 8:45:01 AM
9/7/2012 12:11:31 PM
Bourdain is a pimp's pimp. I'd take a shot in the mouth to have that gig.
9/7/2012 12:12:16 PM
Mythbusters.they get to work for and with celebs. get their own show. dictate programming on the network and could easily spend a cool mill going all the places bourdain does and still be worth more.
9/7/2012 12:14:44 PM
But Bourdain is friends with and hangs out with the big people. Nobody except for the people that watch, know who the mythbusters guys are. They will never be on any substantial red carpet or "It list."Bourdain is a world-wide celebrity.

mythbusters, but that's because I am a picky eater
9/7/2012 12:30:55 PM
9/7/2012 12:44:19 PM
who cares if they aren't on "the list"... they get to play with robots and blow shit up as a day job...
9/7/2012 12:46:37 PM
As opposed to a day job where you get to travel all over the world and eat and drink like a king?
9/7/2012 12:49:24 PM
^^^I know who he is, I just can't figure out why you'd rather be him.
9/7/2012 12:53:44 PM
he's so extreme
9/7/2012 12:55:57 PM
fucking love Bourdainhe wins
9/7/2012 12:56:49 PM
how about Anthony Bourdain vs. Simon Cowell
9/7/2012 12:58:09 PM
nigga pleasesimon cowell is approaching oprah levels[Edited on September 7, 2012 at 1:01 PM. Reason : qq]

that's a clown question, bro

I think I'd rather be Bourdain.I mean Cowell has way more money, but he's also waaaay more famous - so he has less privacy. And he has stalkers breaking into his house and shit. I think Bourdain could most likely come to Raleigh, walk around downtown, eat an overpriced sandwich at the Pit, and head out without being mobbed. Recognized? Sure. But Cowell gets straight up mobbed when he goes places, from what I've heard.
9/7/2012 1:24:06 PM
I agree with all that but I also think he has a pretty sweet job
9/7/2012 1:42:50 PM
theres plenty of people I'd rather be than these guys, but its not about which one you'd rather be, you'd still be you. It's about which job would you rather have.
9/7/2012 1:43:02 PM
9/7/2012 1:55:13 PM
9/7/2012 1:59:09 PM
Here is the difference.Bourdain couldnt do the mythbusters job.The Mythbusters could do Bourdain's job. That means id rather be mythbusters. Im sure travel expenses would be high, but a million dollars goes a long way, especially when you have TV cameras with you at all times...free publicity is a beautiful thing.

Sure, Bourdain's shows cool things of where someone would spend bank on living in ultra high luxury, traveling around the world, but that niche is open to those who have the money to spend on it. Not that many people could do what the mythbusters do or get their hands on the things that would other wise not be avaliable to civilians legally. Personally, I'd rather have a job that challenges me and never gets boring; more hands on that allows for personal learning and growth. Travelling, no matter how glamorous, cool or interesting it is; after a while, you'll sit down and go "shit, I just need to go home and chill out".In reality, everyone will not agree since everyone has their own personality, tastes and likes to obtain the number one thing in life... happiness. Thinking and doing are completely different matters, but we could all day dream about having these jobs; make a list of which one is better with pros and cons. Just whatever floats your boat really.Still going to choose Top Gear as the best job.
9/7/2012 2:12:32 PM
I doubt the mythbusters could cook a pop-tart.Bourdain is a respected chef and author. That's why he has his job and does it so well. And as Slave mentioned...he's a fucking pimp.

they've shown bourdain cooking for his crew.i'd like that.[Edited on September 7, 2012 at 2:30 PM. Reason : e]

Bourdain.
9/7/2012 2:34:11 PM
9/7/2012 2:36:48 PM
being on bourdains camera crew would be a LOT tougher than mythbusters
9/7/2012 2:37:22 PM
^^ thats true. the job itself would kick assworking with clarkson would not kick ass (so I'd have to take his job, and work with hammond and the other guy. May)
9/7/2012 2:38:23 PM
no matter what, either show's camera crew eats pretty good, although they don't get paid very well. I mean I did a job of where I got paid 400 for 120 hours of work over 7 days, but breakfast, lunch and dinner was all gourmet 5 star meals; easily 50+ each meal per person.. And I should know because I did the budget. Well technically, we ordered the food for the talents, but we just bundled it as craft services for the crew. It's always a joke when I work because I tend to out eat everyone for being a small Asian, so I supplement my financial income with bets of "how much can JBaz eat today?" After every job, I take home leftovers.
