Define "quickly." Drivers have every right to pass a slower car. Nobody should subject themselves to being stuck behind a slower car in order to stay out of your way. It obviously depends a little on the context of the traffic and what time of day it is.

But if you're on i40 in the morning and can't be bothered to go 75 in moderate traffic or 80 in lighter traffic then you are the problem. Get over to the soccer mom lane and stay there.

It's not about "owning the road" if you are going slow in the fast lane then you aren't respecting my driving conditions so I don't respect yours.

I rub my hands and cackle maniacally when I see face's doppelganger pulled over. Seeing them have to punch the brakes when passing on the right fails is fairly satisfying as well.

Mercedes drivers can be a little agro as well, but it's more frequently a crazy old bat with slow reaction times being inept as well as callous and foolhardy, which is a bit more alarming than cunts merely going 20-25 over and weaving.

I'm gonna get me an audi and be a classy old broad with the money I didnt have to give to lawyers by sticking to 10-12 over for the last few years and ceasing to shave 5 fucking minutes off my travel time by having my shit together and leaving 5 minutes earlier.

1. That's not how it's supposed to work, and that is more dangerous and less efficient for everyone. They need to get the fuck out of the passing lane if they aren't actively passing anyone.

2. It doesn't matter what the "speed of traffic" is; it matters how fast someone wants to go. That's why there's a passing lane.





I think that BMW is much more of a driver's car than any of their real competitors, and they tend to attract buyers who are at least casually familiar with and interested in driving. Coupled with the fact that BMWs offer way above-average vehicle performance to enable it, they tend to drive a little harder than your average clueless soccer mom in her SUV, and they tend (to a greater extent than average) to get rightly frustrated by people who have no idea what they are doing or aren't paying attention.

I know I'm a very courteous driver if you're doing what you're supposed to do (with respect to lane discipline or just in general). If you're fucking it up, well, then, fuck you.

No. That's why there's a speed limit. I'm not going to sit here and bitch about it because I drive over the speed limit too. slow traffic moving to the right and leaving passing lanes open isn't about speeding as much as it is about keeping traffic going, not creating rolling roadblocks that bunch up traffic, which are all ultimately about safety. It's much safer to allow traffic to flow than to bunch it up and cause passing on the right situations.
