If crazy old senile type men are gonna get put away for groping younger women like that pic then a whole lot of people are gonna lose their crazy old grandpa or great uncles to prison. Not saying its right but I see stuff like that happen way more in public than the Weinstein stuff.

I also feel like in general women are way more likely to laugh off something like that from a very old guy than someone younger and clearly more competent.

Hard to tell the difference between the two in a lot of cases though but yeah I usually assume they are just old men using the excuse that they dont even remember doing that because no one wants to get mad at an old man.

I like that Bush didnt even really deny it. He was just like "yeah, from my wheelchair, I sometimes inadvertently touch butts. I also sometimes make jokes. But it was never done to make anyone feel uncomfortable"

And to be fair, whenever someone spoke out about Clinton acting like a perv, republicans were always up in arms.

If you watch any tv show from the 90s to early 2000s, even “high brow” shows, there is huge amounts of tolerance in our culture for non concensual touching/kissing/hugging if one person “means well”.
