In tradition with Technician's high reputation of excellence, they will be accepting resumés and applications only on standard 2-ply toilet paper. Materials submitted on 1-ply will not be considered.

I get sick every time I look at these comments.

Here's Technician saying, "Hey, we want to better something, and we're reaching out to you to help."

And the atypical T-dubber responds with some snarky comment that perpetuates this ignorant stereotype abound on this message board ... *sigh*

The Technician is trying some pretty groundbreaking concepts and desperate tactics this year.

Perhaps now the student paper won't simply be a tree wasting four-page hunt for Sudoku.

So if you think you can do any better at the Technician then I would love to see you try... as a former member of the editorial board, I can tell you that it’s a lot of work being an editor.

So, if you think you’re good enough then step up to the plate.

I mean if you are going to not pay attention in my lecture at least have the decency to read something besides the Technician. Surf the web, doodle, sleep, I don't care, just don't put my lecture beneath the Technician

Sometimes I think the writers and editors both don't read the articles, but don't worry technician nut huggers, they're plenty of other publications that have shitty editors. I only grab a technician when I feel the urge to do a crossword puzzle. The best ones are the completely low resolution puzzles that you can't read the clues or the numbers.

PS: Being an editor is only a hard job if you suck at being an asshole.

Still can't figure out if #13 was a jab or a compliment, but I'll take it either way. I loved doing the A&E page.

As for you bastards with nothing to do but turn a useful thread into a way to waste even more of your useless lives - just don't apply if you don't want to. It's the best college job ever for the right person, and is fun and incredibly fulfilling.

The free movie passes, video games and music don't hurt either.

Though a quick word to the Technician A&E staff: Damn, I can't believe you haven't had your successor in training for months now. Passing on the A&E page from one editor to the next is a great moment, and shouldn't be advertised on The Wolf Web. Does no one in your department take pride in doing the A&E section?

Anywho - if a 14 is needed, it should be:

14) Strive to be as good as Jake Seaton, who understood the hard work it takes to produce a proud feeling when you pick up the paper the next day.

Erskine Bowles took a minute to slam the Technician in the commencement ceremonies today. It was the best part of the whole thing.
