Thank god I'm not a student anymore.... White looks so bad. NCSU is and always has been a red dominated school.

How many students wear the white versus wear red and wave the white t-shirt? The non-student section looks great with red alums waving white towels, but the student section looks blah with a mixture of red and white.

I'm fairly indifferent if it catches on and is done right, but it will look terrible if you end up with half of the students understandably wanting to wear red and not going along with the gimmick.

good lord some of you are whiny bitches. I think the "color"-out thing is fine, however, it has not and is not being properly administered. these morons trying to organize this need to realize that in order for this to work well and look amazing, they need to put in more effort/designation.

I say they should design an awesome shirt and give it to everyone as they enter. hell I wish they'd require you to wear it if they're doing this.

or if you want to have contrast, do it per section, etc, etc, etc. it would take work, but it would look that much better.

i think it would be pretty cool if you did it by sections as well. say, divide the stadium into 8 or so sections and each one alternates in colors of red and white. that would probably be a "stadium first" and would look pretty impressive.

Not a huge fan of the white-out, but I'll give it a chance. I know the Pack Pride guys are worried that, because USC is wearing white, it'll give the initial impression that they have a huge section of fans. Kind of a dumb thought since we're red AND WHITE, but not far-reaching retarded.

I personally like the BEAT CAROLINA thing. My boss, a Carolina grad, gets downright defensive when you refer to USC as Carolina. I love it.

Thursday night games are always seen as big games and a time where just about the entire nation is watching your game. We did the card stunt last year and it worked great. It pumped up the fans and the team even though the game didn't end up like we wanted. However, that was one of the loudest WOLF..PACK chants I have heard at Carter-Finley.

O'Brien made the comment after the game that it was a championship effort by the fans and if you watched the sideline and the huddle during the stunt, they looked pumped and were loving it. That's just my opinion based on what I saw.
