FYI, those little spacers that pull the rear O2 sensor out of the main exhaust stream do work for an old low-performing cat (so long as it's confirmed to be free flowing and the sensors work). Just dont take it somewhere they can put it on a lift to inspect it.

Had to buy a new bumper for the 335 because the stock one is fucked to hell from scraping.

Ended up with this guy: http://www.modbargains.com/BMW-E90-M3-Replica-Front-Bumper.htm (IBT RAWR RAWR RAWR NOT AN M3, I paid $300 for it during a black friday sale, and it had about an inch more clearance believe it or not)

Anyone have a good suggestion of a shop locally that can paint it & put it on for me?

- changed oil in black truck, 3gallons worth.
- installed gauges in red truck: fuel rail pressure, boost, trans temperature. I also wired in indicator LED's for OD on/off, TC locked/unlocked, and an indicator for when my trans cooler fan kicks on.

Of course I've kinked the nylon boost line somewhere, so I'll have to fix that shit. I thought I had pinched the line at the end fittings (ferule & nut), but nope. Also my TC & OD LED's reflect off the hump where the gauge cluster resides (gauges are in a dash mount pod).

Does anyone know if any stores are offering the oil change special on Castrol Syntec/Edge right now?

If not what's the cheapest way to buy it?

Awesome.

I really wanna build a 5 speed outback wagon some day.

But I dunno... Just lost all *want* in Subaru land after my legacy and my buddies... Between my tranny issues and his short block issues I just lost faith in turbo subies...:-/

got my Magnaflow 16822 cat-back today

it has joined my RPW 4-2-1 header in the garage

when I have time, I intend on taking it to a muffler shop and replacing my exhaust system (PZEV) with the header and Magnaflow, along with a different cat

^ Awesome!

I tried to replace the axles on my rally Civic last night, on one side the axle nut is jammed on so tight on one side that I can't break it loose. Entire car was moving, wheel was rotating even with the car in gear, the brake pedal jammed with a jack stand, and the car on the ground. I'm going to have to have someone hold the brake pedal down to get it loose I think, or have someone with a really heavy duty impact try it.

On the other side, the axle nut came off easy, but the damn ball joint in the control arm would not come out so I could get the axle out. Blech, stupid old cars fighting me every chance they get.

Put on new wiper blades, and an air filter.
The last one had about 30k on it, and was solid black from the original yellowish color.
I might actually see an improvement

took out all of the trim/carpet/seats to dry out the carpet/sound deadener. drove around for a week with only a driver's seat (no carpet, etc.) and two fans blowing on the sound deadener glued to the truck body in the floorboard. when plugging in the extension cord at work, I was asked if my vehicle was electric, ha! (07 chevy colorado). then changed the 4 door speakers. then put the carpet and other seats back in. I tell you, it's like getting a new car.

^ I had an issue where the rear washer on my Cherokee leaked underneath the rear carpet and did pretty much the same thing. Works damned well, and is pretty hilarious at the same time

…But I'm probably going to burn them off this weekend at the drift event because I got em up for 30 bucks

Replaced the axles on my Civic.

In the process of replacing the rear trailing arm/hub on my M3 since the freakin lower shock bolt sheared off in the old one and then snapped an EZ-out Got a used trailing arm for $100, now I just need to get the old parking brake cable out and the new arm in.
